Fullback depth

The discussion of who would replace Tedesco over the past week highlighted one thing, besides him we don't have many other good options. Now that he is staying the issue of depth at the back comes up.
1\. I believe Kurtis Rowe is not good enough at this stage.

2\. Daniel Abou-Sleiman seems to be out of favour seeing as he lost his NSW Cup spot after Rowe dropped back (Where is he playing now btw?)

3\. I would rather we didn't re-shuffle our backline.

So what do we do?
Are we still liking at this Valentine Holmes guy?

Has Mason Farrell got potential to be a good back up?

Should Abou-Sleiman be ahead of Rowe in the pecking order?

Is any fullback coming through SG Ball that goes well?

Fingers crossed that Tedesco stays injury free but if he does get an injury our options aren't great right now.

Rowe as a back up fullback is acceptable

Lets just hope Teddy can remain injury free for as long as possible

Agree.

When talking depth i believe many have unrealistic expectations. I used to laugh when the old "lack of depth in the halves" issue would be raised on here. Its hard enough to find 16 good halves to fill all NRL teams, let alone have one playing lower grades for depth.

And the same goes for fullback to some extent. The fact is our depth this year across the board is better than every other club and we should be applauded for it.

I'm happy to have Kurtis Rowe as a backup, he showed marked improvement over a few games of first grade, and can only continue to improve under Potter. Not going to win games on his own, but solid enough at the back. I think we're right to have him in NSW cup as he's our best backup as it stands. I think Kurtis could develop into a regular first grader, but will probably have to leave the Tigers to do it.

I'm happy with Rowe. Moltzen is here for a couple more as well. Noffa can easily slot in at fullback IMO.

No crisis in any position except centre and hooker ( only coz no one can even come close to robbie)

Rowe is able enough for mine and signed for next season, so we re-evaluate then.

Mania has the nine covered.

I think Rowe has shown enough to mark him as a first grader with plenty of potential for improvement. To reach that potential he will need to find another club and if another club is interested he should be released as his future here is limited by having a top gun ahead of him.
