@softlaw said:Terrible news if Gallants facebook is true :frowning: It matches his face when he was on the sidelines though. He looked very upset.
Whilst I would love to see Lui come in at 5/8 this is not the right time for it to happen. Collis will have to stay at centre and pick his game up defensively. He's probably better in attack than Ayshford atm because Ayshford needs to learn when to pass the ball but Ayshford's defence is far better.
Lawrence at 1 could be anything but the most important thing will be how well he positions himself defensively against kicks. esp. attacking kicks. That was Gallants huge strength & we will miss that.

@quintus said:Lawrence is no makeshift fullback he has plenty of experience playing in that position. Collis is a very experienced centre and can tackle. He also needs game time leading up to the finals. I hope Sheens goes with Lawrence at the back and keeps him there for the remainder of the season or until Gallant is fully fit again. Moltzen must remain at seven.

However, the Tui/Lawrence combination is turning into an important one for scoring actual points. Also, Lawrence is pretty darn big now, maybe too big for the no.1 jersey. So, I'd prefer us to take the safer option - keep Lawrence and Moltzen in their best positions and put Hanbury at the back.
