Galloway heartened by show of support

Keith Galloway has encouraged all Wests Tigers supporters to get behind the team in 2013 by becoming a Member.

The Wests Tigers “It’s My Life” Membership drive is now in full swing and Galloway said that the Club has been overwhelmed with the show of support so far.

“I recently heard that the Club has had record sales so far with our Membership drive which just goes to show how awesome our Members really are,” he said.

“We have the most passionate and loyal fans in the competition so it’s great to see that everyone is still behind us despite the Club going through some difficult times at the moment.”

As a player, Galloway knows only too well what it means to have the diehard supporters coming to games each week cheering on the team. He said that this support really gives the team a lift.

“It really means a lot. Playing in front of a massive crowd at Leichhardt Oval or Campbelltown gives us a real boost.

“Members are real supporters. You just know that they will be with you through the good times and the bad.

“I can’t wait for next season so we can make them proud.”

Totally correct..we are being fed BS about membership being up 300% yadayadayada…How could that be, I know 4 members(myself included) that are holding out to see what the clubs does with a coach, Farah etc... before we commit to 2013...I reckon membership is down 300% not up and the club, just like it did all year is treating us fans with utter contempt... :crazy

Hmmm, sounds like they are trying to speak something, that actually hasn't happened, into existence! Or perhaps they're counting all the dog, cat and canary memberships :laughing:

hahaha do they honestly expect us to believe this. Keith Galloway is sitting at home and thinks 'You know what I should write a story about how great members are'. Come on now Wests Tigers, we all know this was written by an intern.

I laugh about this membership bizzo, so if I dont become one, "I am not a real supporter". Guess my money doesnt matter to the club. But its okay though cause I bought a 2 game pass thru their mid year promotion and they then happen to count it as membership. Hence why they have record members every year, they just sell a two game pack for $40 and promote it as membership.

Guess I am a real supporter after all, well I was for 2012 anyways!

Yes they take us all for morons. And they make it clear that unless you are giving them money then you don't matter to them. Great way of alienating the supporters who aren't members for one reason or another

Will be a while before there is an article that gets any cheesier than the pet members one. I felt embarrassed just reading it, god knows how Lawrence felt, cos i think anyone with a half a brain would know that those quotes were just spoon fed or even worse just made up and he was the unlucky one who drew the short straw and had his name attached to it

I for one, being a supporter, am extremelty dis-heartended shown by lack of results, effort for season 2012\. :blush:

at the moment, no amount of sweet talking or warm and fuzzy articles will change that. :imp:
