I think Fifita can/might turn into a Gibbs-style of p[layer, **giving away stupid penalties and making dumb mistakes when frustrated**.

I think fifita was like that earlier in the year but once he got dropped and came back, he has cut a lot of that stupidness out of his game. I think the way he has improved from last year to these past couple weeks is amazing.

Go watch last weeks game against Parra when Fifita got stepped going for the player without the ball and leaving the player with the ball a clear run to the line, or yesterday when he gave away two cheap penalties, thats the difference between young enthusiasm and experience. I love them both and would have them both in my side to compare at different stages in their careers is unfair.
@Blakeeeeeee said:It wasn't a stupid mistake when fifita got stepped, it was just good play by parra. I only remember one penalty from yesterday and that was when he dived on a loose ball. How is that dumb?
@smeghead said:It was an error of enthusiasm. Still if his outside man was a player with lateral speed and ability to read the game the gap may have been closed
@Cultured Bogan said:Both are integral to our structure but you can't compare their roles.
I'd have both any given day but if had to let one go it would be Fifita because Sauce plays more minutes and makes the metres up the middle where and when it's needed.

See, this is why we struggle to work the ball up field in our own half, big blokes like him bludging and looking for the back rowers to work it up field. And his body height is appalling, precisely the reason he got head-slammed against Souths. Galloway plays 50 unproductive minutes, Fifita plays 20 minutes and makes the most out of it.

@citizen cub said:Fifita is, and will always be better than Galloway. As much as people put down Fifita on issues such as weight, fitness etc. the bloke has aggression and understands that a prop's job is to take the ball up and take it up well. Even Blind Freddie could have seen purely based on Sunday's performance that he's a better prop than Galloway.
