12.George Rose

Has had one good game all year (against us). Is nothing but a fat lazy pig.

More impact than Gibbs mate

Rose has played 20 minutes of good football all year, against us.

If you think that fat pig has had more impact than Gibbs has this year, you're deluded.

Rose is another in the long line of piss poor players that our side has managed to make look like superstars. Adam Cuthbertson is another one.

I could name a dozen props better than Gibbs:

1.Brett White
2.Petero Civoniceva
3.Andrew Fifita
4.Ben Hannant
5.Justin Poore
6.Fuifui Moimoi
7.Aiden Tolman
8.Dave Taylor
9.Roy Asotasi
10.Luke Bailey
11.Steve Price
12.George Rose

Lol, that took all of 5 minutes. There's no way the bloke can even be considered, he's not even the best prop at WT.

1.Brett White - When he aint injured, he's usually suspended, soft, DUMB player.
2.Petero Civoniceva - Obvious
3.Andrew Fifita - Potentially, but Owen Craigie was potentially better than Brett Kenny once upon a time
4.Ben Hannant - Yes
5.Justin Poore - , Preston Campbell would be a better prop than this pillow.
6.Fuifui Moimoi - Aside from 6 weeks at the backend of last year, he's done nothing.
7.Aiden Tolman - How about he goes around for more than a few months before we decide that.
8.Dave Taylor - Awful prop….but good back rower.
9.Roy Asotasi - Obvious
10.Luke Bailey - He was, but now he doesn't offer anything out of the ordinary.
11.Steve Price - Obvious
12.George Rose - At eating hamburgers?

Out of those 12, there are 4 better than him at this time and they are all test props.

 Are you telling me Gibbs is better than Moimoi?

 You clearly have no idea what you're talking about

I reckon TSTS has it pretty well summed up.

Gibbs has been consistent and reliable this year. I'm happy with our starting front row this year, we just need another prop to come off the bench who will maintain the intensity laid down by KG and Gibbs.

Why, because I didn't get caught up in all the bullcrap hype about Parramatta last year? Moi Moi was fantastic in the last 6 weeks of the comp last year. Before that he was extremely hot and cold and now he's back to that. A prop who'll only put in for 25 minutes doesn't impress me that much.

Bryce Gibbs is on par with the best front rowers in the game in 2010\. Belters like Ray Hadley and Peter Peters who are anti Gibbs fans bag him, but no player has gotten on top of Gibbsy in 2010.

Defensively, there aren't many better in my opinion. His running game is not up there with the leaders though.

I agree. But I'd have 2 Props off the Bench simply just hitting it up giving Benji room…

If were looking for a prop forward to bend the line & punish in defence, without making too many errors, then Gibbs is a journeyman first grader at best who wouldnt make the run on side in most teams in the comp.
And frankly,Im starting to think Galloway is in the same category..thats when he actually makes it onto the field. He just never seems to realise his potential.
Fifita is the future i& f we want to be no 1 again he needs some help

clontarfkid…is there any Wests Tigers player you do like...

Gibbs has shown enough to me in the last 18 months to suggest his best years as a Prop are ahead of him....

As a little comparison Gibbs is ranked 14th for metres gained this year and 13th in tackles made of all the Props in the NRL....Moi Moi 17th and 32nd respectively.....wouldn't get a start...pffft

yeh yeh statistically may be gibbs looks good but he's no andrew fifita thats for sure.
in other words i rate fifita over gibbs on form this year but moi moi is better then fifita right now.
i dont think gibbs would have any impact in state of origin - he's a prop but he's not a great prop yet. fifita is a typical front rower - big, solid and takes how many defenders to put him down and will play for his country one day. Just not sure what country that might be

I'm somewhat lost as to why some people dont 'rate' Bryce. I can under stand why the dont like him, but his form is well above Keith Galloway in 2010.

Bryce averages 13 Hitups; 111mtrs; 26 tackles per game
Keith averages 12 Hitups; 100mtrs; 22 tackles per game

galloway is an impact prop gibbs is not. he's not state of orign material while galloway is but who has the better percentages? go figure. Also notic how when galloway has the ball there is a roar in the crowd bu when gibbs has the ball there is nothing from the crowd - i mean galloway is a better prop regardless of the statistics.
