Goal kicker Needed

I really hope we have plans for a goal kicker of some note next year, If its going to be lolo then he needs to start practicing all pre season. Today and last week he had me worried every kick he took, just seems so erratic and confidence with his kicking does not show thru.

But same was said about Steve Smith with his batting

Im certain Lolohea will improve his kicking as his confidence builds

He is IMO kicking better than Benji and Moses both

He hit the post twice and didnt miss the other by much

Agreed, IMO better than when we had Moses even if he is kicking at 85% this year. That could be because he is under new coaching. Same could happen with Tui, just needs the right coaching to harness his skill.

Why Lolo is savable is that his misses are generally only by a coat of paint - whereas Brooks' field goal attempt 2 weeks ago was a mile out.

Lolo's career kicking % is about 72% and since joining us is about 75%. The great kickers are only in the low 80's so he's realistically not far off. Give him an off-season with 2 of the great kickers in Ivan and Brett and we may see a very different kicker next season. He seems to pot them with ease from out wide yet struggles nearer to the posts. His action is odd which tends to reflect his inconsistencies at times though he appears to be largely a confidence kicker.
