For ten years we have had citrus orange rather than gold jerseys. Does anyone know why we stopped using gold?

Was it ever gold to begin with? How can we and Parra be both classified as gold when they are 2 different colours.

The process they are printed by . . . sublimation . . . does not allow for precise colours.
It's a "close enough" situation, and for some reason, orange is one of those difficult colours.
OCD rocks, Kul . . . . don't know what you do for a living, but if it involves 3000 fonts and 5000 colours . . . I feel your pain bro.

As a Wests man, I didn’t mind the mustardy gold colour of Balmain teams in the 70s ... can’t stand the present day, diabetes inducing orange View attachment 450

The football cards, old photographs and pub paintings of the time never duplicated the Balmain gold colour accurately. The old cotton jerseys started gold, but faded a bit from washing over the season. Old survivors now are usually faded to the mustard yellow colour.
The gold on this chart is nothing like Parramatta's gold. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Shades_of_yellow
The 1945 jersey gold is the same as the 60's, 70's & 80's jerseys that I have seen1945 jersey.jpg.
