Goodbye Benji! Goodbye Farah!

you are right ink, I can't back it up with hard empirical evidence aside from their actions on the field, such as:

- each week benji putting in stupid one-man chip and chase plays, or what ever low percentage play he does when it's not needed
- robbie diving for the line from 5m out in today's game with 5 defenders in front of him…

it just looks like these guys are playing for themselves only and not trusting the guys around them. When was the last time Lote or Fitzy got the ball thrown to them??? Three weeks ago?

i am sick to death with robbie farahs personal quest for origin at all odds it has turned him into a selfish twat.

Mate the team around them is fine. We have quality across the park. But these two guys are too interested in their own selfish interests to play as a team with the team.

1\. Ryan
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Meany

6\. Taumata
7\. Lui

Robbie and Benji are tremendous talents and deserve the cash that they are on. But for weeks now it has been obvious that they have lost their way. If today's flogging doesn't give them a mighty slap in the face then hopefully a week in reserve grade will, otherwise the players around them will start to question their integrity as leaders.

Flanagan or fulton, moors,Taumata,Payton offer nothing why even bother with them
plus i notice u got the same forward pack that sucks week in week out,the only forward i would keep is heighnington and Ellis
Gibbs im 50/50 on

I wish we had have let Robbie go to the Titans and kept John Morris and used the extra cash to buy better players. He is playing the worst football of his career. Ennis for Origin 4eva.

i dont see why there is hate for robbie today besides the dart from dummy half on the fifth what did he do wrong? his dummy half runs were solid he put in a kick that should of resulted in a try by any winger with a bit of finishing ability another kick should of resulted in a line drop out but it was a crap chase.

He was trying to get the forwards going but they werent good enough verse the south pack. yeah benji had a shocker today but you werent complaining when we were 4-1 and he was the main reason we were 4-1

IMO its sheens and royce whoi the club needs to say good bye to give folkes the reigns

For my thinking the whole team played bad i have followed the tigers for 56 years and without doubt .this the worst effort i have seen . Sheens has not come up with any new things in years and other coaches have well and truly work us out. WE NEED A NEW COACH

Yes.

The only constant in 5 nightmare seasons.

Kul…you clearly dont understand the mindset of the playmaker...when the TEAM is playing like shit, the feel a need to CREATE.
Its not rocket science

I wish we had have let Robbie go to the Titans and kept John Morris and used the extra cash to buy better players.

If youre serious you need help bigtime...get a clue

Our problem has been the same for 6 years - we aren't winning the forward battle both because of our starting team and bench.

You give Farah and Marshall decent forwards and they play a whole lot better.

How Sheens (who is teh most experienced coach in the game) can't see this just leaves me stunned.

Spot on, that and todays defensive effort…yet some wanna sack two of our most damaging attacking players

Defense is an attitude thing that is permeated THROUGHOUT and CARRIED through a team...but lets sack our two main men

we also have a massive problem with our backs and that is half of them cant get a line break or gain decent metres
i like ryan and think he has been great and safe at the back but his style of fb does not suit our gamestyle at all
we need someone who can break the line at the back not just run 5-6 metres than get tackled,we also need a fullback to run of benji and lui short passing

That is the only thing that would give me a smile today.Show some integrity and BOTH RESIGN you are abject failures

Why? Farah hasn't been worth the money we've been paying him in my opinion. I'd rather have a good halfback on his coin and a solid hooker. I'm not doubting his ability as a hooker. I'm doubting his ability as the lynchpin of a team.

Sheens and Royce are the ones creating the problems with their inability to coach a succesful team full of ability who week in week out, year in year out make the same mistakes all the time.

I have been very refrained on this Sheens topic but today was the last straw given everything we had going for us.

Sheens and Royce has had 5yrs to mould what should of been a succesful team, yet have failed year after year.

I hope Humphries gets on the phone to Brown and offers him a lifeline, with Potter as his backup this afternoon.

I really think you need to back this up with something substantial….sounds like your blowing it out your rear end from behind a monitor, easy to do....lets see some substance

Selfish interests?
Explain.

No need for an explanation, it was for all to see on the park today. Lawrence, Marshall, Gibbs, Fitzhenry, Flanagan and maybe Lui have to go. Although it was Lui's first game in some time, I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

Ryan played well, but is not a fullback, centre for him. We need some big players in the forwards. Surely there are some of these in the reserve grade and u20's.

Mullaney to fullback and there are a couple of backs in the u20's who could not possibly do any worse that what was on show today.

Finally, if Sheen's had any pride he would hand in his resignation today and let someone else have a go.The under 20's coach, Jones reminds me of a young Roy Masters, cool, calm and collected and seens to get the best out of his players not matter what the circumstances. Check out today's great win over Souths.

Sheens, one semi final appearance in 7 years and he is still there? Someone's head should roll today.

Neither of them are organisers who can manage a team around the park.
You put a halfback in who can actually run a team and both of these players become the greats that they have the ability to be.
You put the pressure of controlling a team, taking the right option, getting the team into the right place at the right time and running the game at an appropriate pace and they both go to pieces and do stupid things.
Last player we had who could actually control a game was Prince.

We have a choice….......sack a host of players or sack one man, the man in charge. The man responsible for putting the team togther. The man responsible for getting our players ready for a game (clearly they werent interested today and that comes from above).

Its an obvious choice but not for Wests Tigers managment who actually decide to extend this mans contract.

how about goodbye fulton (too lean), flanagan (doesn't cut it in nrl, surely there is a better option in state cup) and fitzhenery

You're kidding yourself if you think thats an improvement.

benji and robbie are far better players, that fact I will not dispute

Rugby league is such a simple game. you need to go forward before you go sidewards. The tigers are going sidewards first. Marshall and Farah are in a form slump but geez our forwards are getting smashed.
No room for marshall and farah to work their magic.

To me they did not even earn their petrol money to the game. Our forwrards had nothing and as Blocker said if benji kicked the last goal he would have done something for the game.

There is nothing positive at all to be taken out of this game, apart from the fact it did not go on any longer.
