Its a fluke you were concieved.

Meaney & Lewis both having a first 40 they'd rather forget…passing game all round is terrible, BRET should be ahead by 12.

We are well on top but we really needed a try to show for it.
Cant believe we bombed the try on our left. :frowning:
 
Balmain are unlucky to be down by 6 at halftime. They've looked the more dangerous side and are defending well on their line. If Lewis is creating opportunities but also stuffing them up with poor passing, if he can settle down in the second half then Balmain can win this one, they look more energetic. Mataka and Gower have looked good. Vossy has talked Roqica up a bit too.
 
At the end of the day its a good effort. Imagine if we had one reserve grade side like other clubs. Bret and the Pies combined would be one hell of a side.

No doubt if we as a team can maintain our enthusiasm, it will come down to Lewis. If he can compose himself he'll dominate this game. I love his effort, but he needs to slow things down a bit.

I remember him doing the same thing playing for the Titans when he was playing for a first grade contract. I think he realises he has a chance to impress people and panics a bit.

Theres been meetings about them uniting for next year, being the reason a few players from both sides have not signed yet for next year.. hope it will happen ,it would be an awesome side..

He's helped my team to a GF loss 2 years in a row… hopefully he's off to Manly, Brisbane, Parra or Melbourne next year...
 
Lewis tried his ring off…...agree with you Sirro......not up to it...

granted i only watched the first half but in that first half we must have been watching a different game......either that or he pulled it out of the bag in the second half....

Oh what about that from Barba.......Great effort from BRET better team for most of the first half....Bankstown City had to much class....

Geo and Willow im not prepared to write Roqica off just yet. To me he showed better speed than i thought he would and with the right training in the off season i can see him gaining a yard or two of pace. His speed off the mark looks ok, and his ability to turn is good enough. Some quality sprint and explosive training will do him the world of good.

I'm not so sure mate. He needs a lot of work because he has a very awkard running style which isn't conducive to great speed. He's definitely going to fill out a lot more because he is still only 18.
 
Hard call against him then with the useless touchie ruling he put a foot into touch.
 
My questions about Roqica's pace have been answered. He had nothing chasing Barba then.
