GRANT JONES NAMES U20S TEAM TO PLAY EELS
5/07/2011 6:09:07 PM

Wests Tigers Coach Grant Jones has named his side to play Parramatta Eels at Parramatta Stadium on Friday, July 8.

Fresh from a bye last weekend, Wests Tigers sit in sixth place on the ladder on 22 points, one point ahead of the seventh placed Eels.

The team welcomes back centre Tim Simona after his stint playing in the NRL but will be without five-eighth Curtis Sironen due to school rugby league representative commitments.

Parramatta go into the match on the back of a 46-16 win over Brisbane at home last Friday night in which full-back Marmin Barba scored three tries.

Wests Tigers will be looking to make it three straight wins following solid victories over Melbourne Storm and Bulldogs.

Kick-off is 5.20pm. Gates open at 5.10pm.

1\. James Tedesco
2\. Marika Koroibete
3\. Tim Simona
4\. Limoni Kamuta
5\. David Nofoaluma
6\. Matt Evans
7\. Liam Ayoub
8\. Neil Begovich
9\. Ben Saunders
10\. Matt Groat
11\. Joel Luani
12\. Mason Talolua
13\. Jesse Su

14\. Junior Roqica
15\. Sebastian Vourlos
16\. Mosese Fotuaika
17\. Kyle Lovett

Jeez. Ayoub is a bit of a speed bump.

Losing both halves against a Parra side that has had a month of good form is a tough ask.

The kick returns of Nofoaluma & Koroibete are something to look forward to though

Jeeeeez that's still a very formidable side even without Miller, Sironen, Woods and Ben Murdoch-Masila. Aside from the halves it's dynamite.

Fab Friday

Round 18 should start with a bang when Parramatta hosts Wests Tigers.

The Western Sydney rivals sit 6th and 7th after similar seasons.

The Eels won only one of their first five. Since then they’ve taken seven from 10.

The Tigers won only one of their first six. Since then it’s seven from nine.

They are form teams with a stack of emerging talent.

If you’re off to Parramatta Stadium, go early!

Benji must be playing as Miller (21) is on the field for the U20s .
Scappy first 13 minutes , with a lot of dropped ball from both teams
Simona also there.

Finally , flying winger , Marita Koroibete is in after 18 minutes.
Miller misses from The sideline .
And from
The kickoff , another friggin knock on by the Tigers.
Parra on the attack fro
The 20s and a Benji like pass in the ground stands.
Too cold tonight for you Mrs T ?

Tigers in again just before half time , set up nicely by Miller to Simona & finished off by the winger Davud
