Great Effort tonight

I was happy with that game. We need more from Sirro and Brooks.

True. Moses looks much more confident every week. Brooks looked dangerous late in the second half with that run close to the line and that chip and chase nearly got a result.

I agree. I like Brooks and Sirro but I think they could be gun players that at this point aren't consistently at that level.

I'm impressed with Moses though. He seems to be slotting in there just fine.

Sirro was closely marked tonight and this created at least one try when Hurrell ran in on him and left Tedesco and Richards unmarked.

yeah good effort, stuff to work on but improving every week i think.

only difference is who we play, first two weeks crappy teams then dogs and souths, last week the eels who were very off and tonight the warriors who played perhaps their best game this year (although thats not really saying much) and at home

attack is getting better. defence was a bit off tonight, but understandable given the unstructured attack of the warriors and the mountain of field position.

Good points.
The other thing about who we play is where we've played them. Only 2 home games in first six rounds and one was bulldogs at anz so not much of a home ground there. I think a 3 from 6 start with 4 away games against decent opposition is a great effort.

Great effort by the boys again tonight considering we had to play against 15 men. Teddy once again proved his superstar status. Warriors scored three incorrect tries , the two Vatuvei tries and the 80th min try. Should be 5 and 1, looking forward to dishing out a shallacking against Canberra nxt week.

:bash

We had no idea whenever the Warriors started playing ad lib footy We lost the forward battle and struggled to close down the Warriors whenever they went wide

I think tonight more than any other game this season we saw where we are truly are at

And I don't mean that in a negative way , we saw we have a lot of work ahead of us and we saw we lack pace in defence and looked like we going to get beaten for speed every time

Let's not forget we played on the Monday afternoon and Tuesday would of been recovery.
I dare say Friday would of been a light run in the morning and get ready to fly to N.Z.

All things considered we are heading in the right direction , there is no doubt we need some experienced signings .
Good effort though.

the ref gave them them the ball more. they were free to do what they wanted

We were ill disciplined because we were losing the ruck , they kept turning us back inside and we didn't cope

Thought we showed alot tonight given the possession and our defence held strong against alot of attacks. We could have easily have come a way with 2 points. Keep it up boys you are getting better each week.

Many opposition coaches would of learnt a lot about how to beat the WTs tonight

Blame the refs all you like , they weren't great but some glaring deficiencies became clear tonight

JT now needs to try and counteract them

Losses are always hard to take but tonight's defensive performance on the line was fantastic..what an improved team this year . we can complain about the kicking game in parts and the early defensive effort but the guys turned it around to be a in a winnable game well done .When you can see the massive improvement in areas it does make the lose bearable .

i didn't think we were beaten for speed in the backs….i thought our lateral movement in the forwards was shown up a bit when they shifted wide and turned it back in.
