Commentators made an interesting comment last night, if Potter may in fact be saved because of the club drama taking culpability off him and distributing it around - players, captain, board, CEO. That Potter may not be judged by this last month of footy at all.

Nor should he be.

It will be the final proof, for me, of the boys club running the show, if Potter goes, and Skando stays.
Not to mention if Payten gets the job.
But hey, why address the real problems when you can just create more?

Do you guys really think any coach of note would want to come here to the train wreck?

Thanks to all above for the quotes. Pretty well sums up my view. And Flippedy, even Potter must be looking seriously at other options.

Great idea!!!! Love this!!! He can coach between September'14 and February '15, with the incoming coach overseeing the whole thing. Genius. We must get you onto the Board. Chairman perhaps.

Matt Parish was a terrible player for Balmain and would be a terrible coach for the Wests Tigers.

Yeah, wouldn't it be terrible to make the finals!

For the record i don't like Smith at all but i do think he catches a lot of crap he doesn't really deserve. If his only failing is losing in grand finals i would think that makes him much better than 75% of current coaches.
