Greg Inglis

He would do nothing for our club. No good having a bloke waiting for a dominant forward pack to give him space and time, we don't have that.
Leaders and blokes who command utmost respect are ones that perform at their best even when they are getting beaten-Inglis is always amongst his teams' worst players when they lose. You only have to watch those games to see that.
Frontrunners are of no use to our club- we need blokes with fortitude who will show up and give their best no matter what.

For those who weren't sure , GI is a Qlder and an ex Storm player

Please continue …..............

Mate, your insistence on running to the defence of every single person that has ever worn a maroon jersey is bordering on juvenile TBH. I've heard of patriotism but FFS Inglis isn't even a Queenslander.
Time to put some starch into that petticoat and bravely leap over that hurdle- sometimes people will not always worship that State that you are so protective of, it happens sometimes.
Inglis is a frontrunner plain and simple, always has been and always will be.
Slater is a great player, can't stand the bloke though: he is a Qlder and plays for the Storm so there you go it isn't such a conspiracy after all…....

And just to be clear we all now Bowraville is in Qld along with the rest of the world, apparently…!

GI tapers his season. Always has, always will.
He starts slowly, producing satisfactory efforts then as the rep season approaches, he winds up producing solid footy until his game streamlines around game 3\. From then on he maintanes that level until the finals come along where he peaks.

Big game players don't bust their balls in round 5\. They slowly build up as the year drags on. As the lesser players fatigue, these guys get stronger. Thats why they get the dollars.

Great player but as father time marches on he is coming back to the field. Still would be a very handy player to have at your disposal if your were playing a grand final. Souths are playing busted, their forward pack holds little fear these days so poor old GI is nearly a one man band. Years ago I was in a pub having a beer with Kerry Hemsley and I was bagging Ray Price and big buckets said to me you never bag a champion…so true

Bunnies fans would be happy that he is raring to go come finals time. That of course is if he has earned his dollars in the early season as well and helped them to get the points in the first place so they can marvel at his ability.

You know at times we forget League is a team game and for players to shine they usually need the players around them to be firing also. Not always the case I know, but usually great players play play in very good teams

An average game from GI is still better than most players in the Nrl,look at milone if he makes a tackle, catches a ball, runs for a metre etc. people think he has then had a blinder…!

Or even try to kick a field goal in the last 40 seconds when the team is 2 behind.

Definitely an Immortal….NOT!

There was a time when he was a real threat. Now it's rare he worries teams at all. I don't think the Blues are too worried about him anymore either.

Who said he is going to be an immortal?

There were a few on here over the last 18 months that made that suggestion.
I know you were not one of them - and I didn't say you were.

I was making the suggestion that he wasn't - and would never be.
