Work in progress, to play top grade at his age you need ability and plenty of ticker, the problem he has come along at the same time as another young prop who looks like being a once in a generation type player, so the bar has been set really high. He will be a very good player if he is willing to learn his trade and put the work in. Remember Keff, Sheens had him in and out of the top grade for years before he nailed his own position
Groat was outplayed by Lovett and Brown on the weekend. They look about 10x more dangerous than Groat too, and each have their style of play. Brown is a nuggety prop who takes the ball up at a million miles an hour. Lovett is a workhorse prop with great defence.
**I do like how Sheens brought KG along. He hovered around the reserve grade team for his first two seasons here - best pathway for a forward IMO**
