In Taylor's interview on Taupau's Departure he confirmed Dene has re-signed for 2016…

Congrats Dene...

Congrats Dene.

Best thing is that he is a backup hooker.

Coz, ya know, we are abit short in that department.

Good to see him rewarded for his efforts this year.

I have to admit I was a doubter.

Same here. However his form is a throwback to 2005\. Reckon he is a strong number 3 for best player in 2015\. Hope he carries the form into 2016.

Yet the club cant even make a statement about him specifically, just a "Oh, and by the way, Dene has re-signed" while discussing other issues

Useless

So Dene fills the void left by Marty?
Also good to hear these decisions are being made for 'the future'.
Can someone inform Taylor that **next year** is also the future.

Unless JT decides he doesn't like him. In which case he'll be released immediately, mid game if need be, and be replaced by Darren Senter. In all seriousness I'm happy Dene has signed again. Why anyone would do so with our current management is questionable.

Yeah, good point.

Agreed. Whilst I, like many, was already resigned to Taupau wanting out, a prior positive message of Dene hanging around would have softened the blow for some.
