Always happy to wish someone that comes across as a reasonably selfless person well, so all the best Flip.

I note that you mentioned Toukley the other day, so I may be joining you up that way around the lakes/coast area shortly as I'm feeling that I have had just about enough of the city and seriously thinking of selling up and heading a little north.

Thanks to everyone for all the Birthday wishes. Just back from a very enjoyable day in the Hunter Valley :smiley: Nice lunch, a few wines, great company, blue skies, 39 degrees, lots of open space and countryside - what more could I ask for?

FT gets 2 rep points for thinking I'm 30 :mrgreen: Hobbo gets the prize for being one off - 54 mate, and Happy, I was around long before the Apostles were even born! You should know that, since you were around then also :laughing:
 
Formerguest, if you're thinking of moving out of Sydney, I would seriously contemplate going further north than here, if I were you. Whilst the Lakes area up here is still relatively quiet compared to Sydney, I don't think it will be too long before the great tidal wave of Sydney hits the Central Coast enmasse and we'll end up just looking like one of the city's northern suburbs. It's already happening - the changes here, even just in the past 5-10 years, have been astounding!
