Made his comeback today after about a month out & in the 1st minute a Parra defender pretty much got him in a headlock & the tackle momentum forced him headfirst into the turf. Halted play for about 15 mins until stretchered off. An ITK on Twitter/X reported he's been taken to hospital as a precaution & positive signs early. Fingers crossed for the kid & his family.

He's only turning 17yo this year but is one of our most highly rated pathways players coming through. Awful circumstances after another of our promising locks Peter Ta'ai copped that terrible head knock 4-6 weeks ago.
 
Good first half of the season for our Wests Magpies youngsters leading 10-4 up against what is generally a strong Eels team and also up against some very biased refereeing.
Fullback Iszak Isdale is only small in stature, but explosively quick off the mark.
Starting hooker Jaxon Speechley is very strong, energetic and defends like a demon. He has since switched to lock so he’s also versatile, could be one to watch.
Centre Monson Hopoate has made an error and has not yet set the world on fire, but he is a physical specimen, probably taller than Makasini at the same age.
A few others that look to have good potential as well.
Let’s see how they go in the 2nd half with hopefully a fairer share of possession.

Constant errors and all they have done is defend on a very hot day in the 2nd half.
They have not give themselves a chance unfortunately.
