Harry Grant

Liddle is a good player when fit but he is not Harry Grant and nor will he ever be.
Harry will play origin and tests in the future

Any chance of Liddle being back

Even when Liddle is back it's a huge step down from Grant. Even at full strength we were up against it this year with the draw we've got. Huge loss.

I am a fan of Liddle - I reckon he has more upside than Grant. He has speed and the ball delivery is exceptional - Grant is good but not there yet so I wouldn't consider it a step down.

I just hope Liddle can take the field in the future and stay healthy forever.

Liddle will hold his own .

I dunno if people are trying to ease the pain of when Harry returns to Melbourne, or people truly don't understand how good he is. It can't be the latter.

Yeah I feel the same as you. The guy is playing like a seasoned pro already.

you just need to hold on to the words "he is on loan" so it wouldn't hurt that much 🙂 ... again Liddle is good too, he just needs time on the field and play to his ability (I'll add it again "and not be injured")

and like what @Snake said - he will hold his own

I have no issues with Liddle, I'm actually a fan of his and it's unfortunate what injuries have done to his career so far and I back him to succeed if he stays on the field long enough.

But to say Harry is not a loss because we have Liddle is mad. Harry has played like a seasoned professional, **consistently** and he has been the heart of our attack.

Harry is a massive loss simple as that. While he’s out we will be a weaker team.

Hopefully Liddle gets a run soon

Wasn't there chat he isn't too far away?

Yep, round 13. Should be any week now (hopefully that's still the case). Obviously would be eased back in, but would be good having him on the field for even half of a game.

He's in full contact training with the side but I suspect they'll want him to feel a bit more confident in the knee before coming back in.

We're about to see what the Tigers look like without Grant, I don't think it will be pretty.

Where do our points come from?

Plenty of strike in our centres and wingers. As long as the forwards can win the middle we can score points

JLo owes his teammates a big game.
Not entirely convinced about Talau yet, looking forward to seeing his defence in the centres.
He could cement himself that spot if he kills it

What a breath of fresh air watching a player at our club that can actually play .. straight from the first ball . Still waiting for Brooks to show anything but it’s who you know in Tiger town !

It’s not Brooks fault, he just doesn’t know how to grab a game by the scruff of the neck and take charge. Some people are leaders, some are followers. As much as I hate that Mitchell Moses, he should have been our halfback with Brooks at 5/8.

Liddle, available for selection as per the injury report. We just have to get through this game with Mbye/Walters.
Hopefully we see him named in the 21 so he can get a full week with the run on side!

if Liddle and Mmbye work well sharing dummy half duties then momo could be handy to get back in the team next year at centre or wing and goal kicker
