at least the tigers have made a pretty easy decision for him.

The same one teddy and everyone else made. Hang around here and get september off or go win a premiership elsewhere

Probably already been on the phone to see if loan deal can be cancelled

Told that Harry Grant's recovery from knee surgery is going well. He's back running and potentially ahead of schedule to return next week for Wests Tigers @NRLcom

Pity that Ivan is too much of a ponce to allow Hetherington to play against Penrith, Hetho might've stiff-armed lil' TikTok boy. That would've been pretty good to watch IMO.

Why would he do that to a teammate?

For the entertainment pleasure of Wests Tigers supporters.

Harry and lids would be great

I have to say Liddles passing was great. Looking tentative running the ball but for first game back he did much better then I expected from him .

That pass to Brooks for the winning FG was outstanding and if it wasn't he would not of had time to kick it. He will be better for the run but very impressed with first game back also.

Big question is do you go Harry on the bench or Liddle when Harry’s back? Is it purely down to the greater impact player is benched? Or do they potentially just look ahead to next year and try and play Liddle ahead of Harry or do they try to cater for Harry to stay and offer him the starting 9?

I missed the game the other day but I hear Liddle was solid and you would think he starts and Harry is off the bench, but in saying that my favourite player this year for us has been Harry and if he stayed beyond this year I’d throw him straight into the leadership group and potentially as the captain.

And yeah obviously I’m sure Madge has a plan and it doesn’t matter what we say/think but I just wanted to hear what the consensus was

6 to 1 half a dozen the other as to who starts. To keep both players fresh I'd play them 40 minutes each.

contrasting playing styles can send any team into a head spin

I think it would help us massively. The key thing with both players is that they are very good at getting the forwards over the advantage line with the way they deliver the ball. They both also like to take the line on as soon as one of our forwards takes 3 defenders and gets a quick play the ball. They both obviously have good motors, but giving them 40 minutes each means they're not going to be so gassed that they are ineffective at the backend of a game if they are forced to make a heap of tackles. Better to share the workload in D and make 25-30 tackles rather than 45-50 which is common.

Dont think you can afford to carry both in the 17. Would need a more versatile player on the bench

You go with your best available 17. For me, both are in our top 17. Under the new rules, they will cause chaos and also have sufficient gas to tighten our middle.

I agree both high energy players and I would start Harry and bring on Lids as he is quick and at the back end of the half would be dynamic. I would love to keep Harry but fingers crossed Jacob has a injury free run and show what he is capable of. Get Musgrove and Twal back and Blore on the edge with LL and we can trouble a few sides towards the back end of this season.

I’d take Harry Grant over any hooker in the comp besides smith
Liddle has a crisp passing game, and is very quick. But I feel like Harry has a certain X factor you only see every few years.

Grant comes straight back in he’s our best hooker by a long way. Liddle off the bench is a great combination. Garner could shift to the centres if genre was an injury to the outside backs and Mbye can cover most positions in the backline albeit not very well.

I’m not sure he’d agree here but I tend to think Liddle will have a role in the side as a hooker / lock. His going to end up a big hooker. Looks a lot more bulky already.

Its time we all get over Harry he's been a revelation but we've been getting him ready for a career with the Storm.I don't think the miracle of him staying will eventuate we're in a good position with Lids and everybody has been hyperventilating over Simpkins. What will happen when our fairytale 8 spot is gone do we play Harry or go with Lids and Simpkins

Harry with Liddle off the bench. We should pick the best team from the available players.

Can just see the media adding Harry to one of the ones we “let go” with all the rest. Most those players that leave we make an effort to retain anyway, it’s not like we didn’t table offers to Tedesco and Moses before they left. Media will probably add him to the “ones that got away - ex west’s tigers team of the decade” Ah well at least it seems we got capable replacements with Jake and Jacob
