Forgot as a club we normally let players go see lament thread. You guys are right lets stick with Liddle and risk losing Simpkin or better yet not trying to throw dollars at Harry or Brandon Smith. Hoping as Liddle was outside of 17 towards the end of 2020 Madge might at least look at Simpkin otherwise I reckon Brisbane or Gold Coast will swoop in and take him and he will turn into another Papenhuyzen

Relax, Simpkin is 19, Im sure that he is part of Madges plans (Didnt Madge sign him?). He is under contract for another 2 years, 2021 will his year to show us what he has.

Has Simpkin actually played a 1st grade game yet? Seriously, if not you have no way of knowing if he’ll step up, let alone as some people suggesting he’ll play SOO. Talk about a gamble.

All I am hoping for is he is given a fair cracking at first grade in 2021 at hooker, and thinking if we recruit well enough with Mommo back and talau in centres maybe Mmbye takes the 14 role for versatility which would not leave much for Simpkin if Madge goes with Liddle as starting 9

Your vendetta against him is getting as bad as your one against Nofoaluma. Why would you hope he’s not starting at the end of the year? If he is then obviously he and the team are traveling well.

Now you’re putting words in my mouth. I didn’t say you want to see him injured. But you obviously want to see him dropped, saying hopefully he’s not starting by the end of the year. Seems like you are expecting Simpkin to reach the same level as Grant.
