Yep i dont think they will make the 8\. So that means when his gone were fav for the premiership??

Provided Manly's odds drift.

Hahaha!!!

The only thing melting down quicker than the club are their fans on Facebook!!

Bahhahahaha

Maybe the Manly board is just upset because Des didn't ask them to join him at Canterbury, when he's already wanting Foran..

.. Hopefully they all go and then infection that is the Manly Club can cause the Bulldogs to implode next year as well.

would be great if hasler was at bulldogs for 2012, and they played manly in battle for 8th place, and the bulldogs win in extra time on a dodgy ref decision.

Be interesting to see if Hasler ends up at the Dogs a yr early. Do the Dogs have a responsibility to honour Jimmy Dymock for 2012?
Good to see Manly in a heap though. I think old Maggie fans would call that karma. Yes i know that was 30 yrs ago, but hey, better late then never

Would you honour a rookie coach who will not be there in 2013,whilst you have a twice premiership winning coach ready to take over immediately.
Dont believe 99% of the crap you read in the papers about dessie ,he is a great bloke and the Eagles might not even be in the comp if it wasnt for the great job dessie has done.

The best outcome from all of this would be that manly are no longer able to pay any of their players, who then refuse to play for them, this includes the National youth cup team as well.

This is becoming pretty ugly… They need to show some professionalism and take this behind closed doors.

Give Em and upper-cut Fatty!!!

I thought it was a general "thing" that coaches take their main coaching staff with them to the new club? Wouldn't Des expect to do that?

You have a really really nasty evil side in you that emerges whenever we're talking Manly.

I think that's how it works, generally speaking, if the coaching staffers contracts end when the coach's does. However, it would surprise me if the coaching staff sign contracts that end when the head coach's ends, so they are free to follow without any drama.

I think the problem here is that with Hasler being sacked and leaving Manly a year early, any member of his coaching staff that intends to do so has to wait until 2013 (when Hasler's contract was supposed to end) or try to leave Manly a year early as well. In saying that, I think any member of his coaching staff that leaves to join Hasler will be seen as being poached or enticed to the Bulldogs by Hasler whilst under contract and cone under scrutiny for their decision.

I'm not sure how accurate that is compared to how things are done, but that's how it may work, I'm not too sure.
