Jackson Hastings gets another couple try assists with some real slick passing

Again some perspective ....Leigh are bottom of the table and would get pumped by the Dogs by 40 +

Does that makes the passes suddenly not good? Regardless of opponent his vision and execution was very good.

The opposition is 0-6 and has conceded 220 points .....seriously they probably get beaten by Penrith's reggies

Read previous post lol. They were well executed passes

No worries the level of opposition doesn't matter....then when he plays the Storm and he has doesn't hit the hype .....

It's been proved that if the opportunity is there he can capitalise... it's something our halfback has struggled with multiple times our season.

Obviously he will have less chances against better teams but if the chance is there he can execute.

Brooks would win Man of Steel three years straight if he moved to ESL. He would eat up the space they give halves.

I'm sure he'd do well but there's been plenty of times he's been up against a retreating defence and had an overlap and blown it as well

Mate we know you dont like Luke. Thats fair enough. You are entitled to your opinion. I truly hope that Hastings is the panacea you think he is. I suspect your hopes will be dashed.

I do like Luke and I never ever have said Hastings will come and be a superstar, I'm just pointing out the facts.

No you’re not. You are giving opinions. Nothing wrong with that but they aren’t facts

Hastings kicks the match winning field goal to give Wigan a 17-16 win over Salford overnight

[Twitter Video](https://twitter.com/superleague/status/1396097565695807493?s=21)

Good ‘cause we are probably the worst team in the league in kicking field goals

Funny note about fg

In the rabs game...which we should of won, bsr all the drama

Idk why they gave it to brooks 30m tp take the shot

Douehi should be first option, he has a massive boot

My question though jc99...why has Brooks been very good the last 2 weeks and not the season?..the coach cant coach and Mbye is a tosser that must be gotten rid of...or has Madge done his homework and realised Luke needed someone with ball playing skills to feed the back line...I know the haters will be at me but Mbye has given some great passes that have ended up in tries...Garner last week ,Douhi the week before....I dont know,to be a successful NRL club takes hard work and time apparently Madge has had plenty of time with limited cap and deadwood and the players dont like hard work either apparently...

I think it's because Doueihi was too dominant. He was wanting to control the team and lead us around and there's nothing wrong with that but clearly affected brooks. Mbye at 6 just plays simple, barely kicks and lets brooks take over and he's done better for whatever reason. Unfortunately Mbye isn't as good as Doueihi So brooks needs to figure it out

I haven’t been able to get the motivation to watch this weeks game in full,

With Moses at 6 obviously our game plan is early ball to centres and from highlights Warriors seemed to rush up on our centres

We need to mix it up a bit if sides are going to figure out what we are doing quickly

So Wigan got beaten by Catalans 48-0.

Josh Drinkwater (remember that guy who played 1 first grade game for us) killed it. Looked like Andrew Johns

The All Stars is a great concept...and I’m honoured to be named co-captain. Hastings will take on England for the Combined Nations later this month. Plus more on how the All-Stars are supporting the Mose Masoe Foundation.

I really don't get the negativity as we say when we best and understrength team you can only play whats in front if you.
We really won't know how he goes until he gets in the grind but I for one am hopeful. He seems to have time and quite often that's not something you can teach.

Just watching him in the Eng v SL all stars. Now its a wierd game of course with one team playing for their country and the other for nothing but what i love is that Hastings doesent shut up. If Luke Broools is too quiet then Hastings is his perfe t partner because he is always pointing and yelling at his team in defence and attack. He is also very involved jumping into dummy half and running - they did mention he runs more then any half in Super League. Also throws a lovely long pass

Excellent observations, exactly what we lack out there.

Sounds like he’s really enthusiastic. Like a Josh Reynolds with skill?
