It’s not easy to gauge Latrell’s value to a team because It appears that he relies heavily on external influences for his motivation. Our Adam Hartigan would have been involved in signing Latrell, his brother and Manu at the chooks. And also later, Tedesco to replace their fullback Latrell, moving him to centre. Curiously, Latrell would not meet with us but we waved an offer at him which became public. He said The cowboys interview was just a free lunch on his way to a fishing trip? He also indicated that he may have regretted signing with the Tigers. He grew up idolising GI and has developed his game around the legend who himself transitioned to fullback.
Would he have been a good fit at WT? I don’t know? Probably not. Seems he got what he wanted from us. A big offer to satisfy his belief in himself. I think the Bunnies are the best fit for Mitchell but I’m not sure he will achieve his full potential with distractions like the anthem etc.
