Hayne plane

I’m dismayed that this thread is 10 pages long. I’m praying the interest in this thread does not reflect the Tigers interest in Hayne. He should not be considered at all… We have enough players past their prime already

The fact he’s still without a contract should tell you something. Even Marshall, with all his flaws has a contract.

Marshall has a Market value contract. He still has tons to offer the Wests Tigers.

Hayne is for some reason expecting a salary based on his 2009 Market appraisal.

The Goods on offer are not in the same condition, Technologies has evolved and the Market has moved on.

Ps - who knows he may change his calling in life in the next 12 minutes.

MASSIVE No Thanks - I really hope that the WT Management is taking note of overwhelming fan sentiment on this issue.

They're not going to sign him, don't worry. It's just a hypothetical debate to occupy us in the off season.

Until he is on a plane to somewhere else I am worried

History suggests we have a thing for recruiting "Used By" players

Hoping that aspect of our history stops with Madge.

Hayne still has it in him. On his day he would be better than most of the players in our team , he would be in first grade in our current squad , he can play 3 Positions as well as they guys in those positions now , he will only get 1 more contract and a coach like Madge would sort him out , if he got punted from first grade by Madge , nobody would take him , I say if priced right I would grab him

my friend who told me we had signed a nrl prop, no name yet has now informed me that we are looking at hayne if, we can get him for the right price, talks are on going.

Hopefully he wants too much

THIS. POLICY. DOES. NOT. EXIST.

It doesn't ? It seemed to this year.

Has the club ever made it public they have this policy in place? Seems to me like it’s no more of a policy here than it is at any other club.

If you weren't so quick to jump onto someone you'd see he said the blues.

A big no thanks for Hayne. He is long past his best and isn't worth anywhere near what he is asking (he used to be worth $700k but not anymore and I hope we realise this before wasting money on him). Plus, he isn't the personality we want at our club. A few years ago at post origin presso, I was talking to a few sponsors (werent big fans of his) as he is apparently rude to most people including fans which fits in with **the 'no D head policy** the blues are now pushing. Go the the superleague if you want the cash.

THIS. POLICY. DOES. NOT. EXIST.

Also you will notice i quoted a 'No D head policy' not a 'No peanut policy' which someone (GNR) appeared to have changed.

I think that is edited automatically.

If what is reported in the press is true- that Hayne doesnt want to play for any other Sydney side except Parra- Im happy to grant his wishes and he can go where ever he pleases. WT wont beg.

Gold coin donation only + he pays for his own Powerade.

What’s wrong with you people- you must be content to watch other teams play semis . Hayne will add class and create more competition for remaining spots. Will add pace and Vision. Benji will likely go up a level. MBye and Thompson will relish playing with him. We don’t have a strong outlook for next season. He is a gamble , sure, but one we have nothing to lose. At the same time , we can work on recruitment of high quality juniors to then ultimately replace him

He wants top grade money so that is not a gamble it would be poor management of the cap

perhaps Usain Bolt will decide NRL is his choice of sport since he couldn't land the 3 million deal at Mariners

How many semis has Jarryd played lately?
