If we can get thousands to march on Saturday there should be enough noise to at least temporarily block HBG grim having any control over the club.

Richo specifically said when he left that he could not work with the HBG board any longer. That's essentially it. If they're not around then he can get back to work.

I get accused of being apathetic more often than not, and that's probably reasonably accurate.

I think everyone has a point. Some people get really worked up, some people read something & rage, some people look at things & wonder what difference it really makes.

What tends to happen is that 'debate' gets lost in the attempt to be more right.

Like I've said- if taking little shots at me makes people feel good- go for it. I don't care really. I read everyone's view. I'll thumbs up guys I disagree with 99% of the time if they make a point that gets me thinking.

Or makes me laugh.

Every side has a point. We all want to win games.

There are some very well intentioned people in here I believe that get REALLY REALLY emotional - and more power to them I guess.

Just be aware I'll probably be chuckling at the froth coming out the corner of your mouth as you yell a lot.

It's a symbol of Unity. That everyone at Wests Tigers is on the same page. That everyone associated with Wests Tigers wants Wests Tigers to be successful.

PVL was never going to bow down to his timeframe demands and like always will do things at his own pace when he is ready.
Richo knows via emails and messages that he has the unwavering support from a huge amount of Wests Tigers supporters, surely he could have waited a few more weeks for them if for nobody else.

Why is it a stupid comparison?
They could easily fund a feeder club with the same name as their NRL team if they wanted to, but obviously don’t believe it’s an important matter.
For some it’s a meaningless argument, for others it’s an important part of the glue to try and keep the club united, so why not just leave it as it is unless there is an exceptionally good reason to change.

Ideally yes. I would have preferred he hung in there a bit longer as of course the NRL was never going to step in within a few days.

Or he felt that for the NRL to step in the club needs to hit rock bottom and for the board to dismiss someone successful like him was a symbol that hope was lost and rock bottom is around the the corner.

At least I achieved something. And all I had to do was not agree with the hysteria. And offer alternative views.

In 2 days I've been called naive, foolish, an idiot, a moron (self imposed), inexperienced, told that someone rarely agrees with anything I say (ouch), an apologist, 'head in the clouds' & a drug taker, a lemming & kool-aid drinker, apathetic (liked that one TBH), a fence sitter (not joining into a war I believe), not funny (that was just rude...) etc, etc...

That's just 2 days.

And all I really did was not show my support for a rally, not put the boot into HBG & asked a few questions of the statements being made (yes, often in a contrarian type manner- can't help myself). Also, pointing out that Richo is being investigated. And asking what Balmain bring to the joint venture.

But I'm not dishing out any kind of abuse, in fact, going out of my way not to.

Yet people on here are so worked up about things, they feel it's ok to do exactly as they have done.

And then "Wests Magpies Old Stooges" like BZN etc cop it even worse for having a different take again.

Not sure about the hysteria comment. I think people have put up with enough. It's literally been 10 years straight.

It might sound simple, but when people are putting their hand in their pocket, getting their kids involved and supporting the club, they deserve to be treated with a bit more respect. It starts and finishes there for me.
