He did publically state he wants people that are in for the crocodile roll.
Actions speak louder than words.
That’s why I suspect a comeback is not out of the question if PVL intervenes with a verdict he’s happy with.
My guess is PVL will insist on a return of the Wests Tigers board featuring 4 independent board members.
If that eventuates it won’t be enough to please Richo, it won’t be enough to please many of our fans, but it would be better than nothing.

My hope is that the majority of us that are still here and haven’t jumped off the bus can be amicable and acknowledge we don’t all have to have exactly the same opinion.
Correct me if I’m wrong @BZN but, I don’t think you are happy with the current clique within the HBG either ? If I’m reading your point of view correctly you would be similar to myself in simply wanting an opportunity for change to be made and have the current clique within the HBG overthrown and an opportunity for the independent WT board to be reinstated or reformed before you agree that the only option left is HBG out ?
Like myself I believe you mainly want some part of the Wests Magpies memory to live on and are happy if that is simply via our NSW Cup team as it currently stands ?
As most of the good people on here tonight have acknowledged, that should be no skin off anyones nose as most supporters don’t care about NSW Cup anyway and as long as our feeder team is doing its job and feeding decent players through to our NRL team, who really cares what our feeder team is called.

Imagine if in the end our board members and chair are reinstated, Richo returns as an N.R.L administrator and the board members sue HBG, Paton gets the boot for the video they took down, Burgess gets booted out of both board rooms and Asic open an investigation into the dealings of the HBG directors. That would be a world class stuff up for nothing.

I base it on evidence mate 15 years without finals for a start.

A review that the HBG commissioned that found serious governance issues at the club and recommended the board be restructured and an experienced CEO to be appointed.

Under those changes we saw the first upward trends at the club in at least 5 years, On measurable indicators.

This progress has been thrown out by the group that the review recommended separation from.

You want to play these games then you better have evidence because I do.

People are acting like they know exactly what happens next. What if the next CEO is brilliant?

Remember- the review suggested independent board members & an experienced CEO.

They followed that instruction. For whatever reason (and we are only speculating at this stage)- they have moved the board members on. Richo chose to leave.

Have HBG said they are not going to take on independent board members now?

Who on hear wants the Wests Tigers to be one club in all grades , and the juniors of Balmain and Wests strive to get to the top into Wests Tigers , All Wests Tigers in NRL and Reserve grade , Flegg ,then the juniors of each original club start , make sense doesn’t it,

I get accused of being apathetic more often than not, and that's probably reasonably accurate.

I think everyone has a point. Some people get really worked up, some people read something & rage, some people look at things & wonder what difference it really makes.

What tends to happen is that 'debate' gets lost in the attempt to be more right.

Like I've said- if taking little shots at me makes people feel good- go for it. I don't care really. I read everyone's view. I'll thumbs up guys I disagree with 99% of the time if they make a point that gets me thinking.

Or makes me laugh.

Every side has a point. We all want to win games.

There are some very well intentioned people in here I believe that get REALLY REALLY emotional - and more power to them I guess.

I was as excited as any other Wests Tigers fan when the news of Richo joining us first filtered through.
Yes he’s had a great long term record in the game, but that has always been as a club CEO,never as a recruitment manager or salary cap manager.
He lost me long before all this recent drama eventuated, I just think he’s become too egotistical, has demanded far too much money and has taken on too many roles.
This does not detract on the major issues with the current clique within HBG.
