If that is indeed the case, they may be better off looking within. After all, they had two representatives on the very same board. Two board members who apparently voted in line with their Tigers colleagues when it came to stadium strategy and jerseys.

There is a reason the Tigers haven’t played finals football in more than a decade. Self-sabotage has invariably been at the heart of all their failures. Now, with some blue sky on the horizon, the Tigers have committed harakiri again.

The NRL need to investigate this and review the 'supposed' reasons why the independents were disbanded. If they have no substance or credibility, PVL needs to come out with an iron fist like he did with potential R360 defectors. I just can't fathom how they can use poor communication as a major reason when a HBG rep sits on the WT board as does a WT rep. That's there f'n job to communicate back.
 
ABSOLUTLEY DISGRACEFUL just when we are starting to trend upwards more drama to accompany our team. I will be devastated if Richo leaves, we finally have positive direction and structure and along comes the DRAMA.

FMD we are supposed to be one club not splintered like this. I hope the footy gods allow us to get our shit together.

Supporting a club is like that ray of hope & positivity in most supporter's lives. No matter what is happening in a person's life and the world, there is always a Wests Tigers game to look forward to and lately there has been plenty of hope on and off the field to go with that.

I'm still positive there can be a good outcome out of this but it will require Richo at his political & strategising best.

There is no representation for Wests Tigers fandom or supporters. I was the last generation of kids in Macarthur that grew up watching the magpies. The Wests Tigers were so much better.

literally the last thing i said in the jarome thread when asked why he has the clauses was to keep the club accountable to not revert back to a basket case. look at where we are now

balmain were crap in the 1990's
I was there at BRLFC voting for the merger, after seeing weeks earlier Fitzgerald come in and give a pitch to balmain members with some mocked up Parramatta Tigers hats.
it was either merge or bust
Wests Tigers gave us a premiership
