HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

I am so triggered seeing these posts about Richo..It's a fkn smear campaign.

Everyone please email Richo and let him know you back him through this.

We need him to fight this like he fought at Souths

Can someone tell me about where HBG are located
Lol are you going to deploy the Jackal.

It is so very simple from all of this.

- HBG fear losing control, so gets rid of the independents on the board.

- Richo works well with the independents, HBG don’t like this, want him out, and in preparation have been subtly collecting things that they could use against him if needed, despite agreeing to them at the time and signing off on them.

- Richo’s contract is well written with the clauses, so HBG would have to pay big to do so, thus get someone to be a whistleblower based on what they have collected to oust him that way and avoid the payment.

- HBG then can place a weak CEO with ties to them who will do their bidding into the role.

- HBG gains all power again and can move forward with any plans they have to destroy the club as it is and bring back the Western Suburbs Magpies.

Out of this it has to be a simple decision for all of us;

1) Richo stays, Independents reinstated, HBG sells and has no link to the club ever again.

Or

2) HBG stays, WE ALL GO.

If it has to be number 2.

Then it is what it is.

They go or we go…..

It’ll force the NRL to have to move.

I get the vibe Richo will stick around. I doubt he’ll pike out after the work he’s put in.
I'm wonderint if he'll hold his shots until it plays out. There's every chance that HBGs move is not the end of proceedings, and if he's quit the post, there's probably no coming back.

Also I have a suspicion that even HBG are super keen to keep Richo in his position - his appointment was a HBG decision before the independents came on board.

I'd be willing to bet HBG are very keen for Richo and Benji to stay the course and I think, rather, they've vaslt underestimated the fan backlash on the Board machinations.

You blokes (and gals) are wildly jumping at shadows.

Nobody has said the club is reverting back to the Magpies

But go ahead, if you must, keep swinging the pitchforks at imaginary enemies 🤷‍♂️
Sorry but you arent paying attention. There's a lot of chat about whether or not the Magpies would be returned.

Nobody really thinks it would happen, but its not reasonable to say nobody is talking about returning the Maggies when
(a) it's been in the media for 2 years including from former HBG members
(b) the club is 90% owned by what is originally the Magpies faction

Stop being so auto defensive that fans have concerns. Entirely reasonable concerns.

This seems to me the story of what is currently happening. How anyone can defend the conduct of HBG is beyond me. ***inset caveat about waiting for facts here

Anyone who thinks the Richo stuff breaking today has nothing to do with HBG is living in a fantasy.

Lawyers at 12 paces at the moment. I’d be surprised if this is settled Monday.
