HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

Its a forum mate. Its about trying to put the pieces together and form a logical opinion.

I get incredibly frustrated anything trying to justify HDB taking this course of action - there may have been issues, but unless it was embezzlement, fraud etc., which they have not said is the case, nothing justifies dissolution given our history and current timing of negotiations.

I hope the majority of supporters here are frustrated and angry to. We can't stand for this.
I was pissed off 10 years ago mate. Just determined now.

Yes and it might be a blessing in disguise as if the events of the past few days did not eventuate it would have just stayed on the back burner dwindling away.
It is now in the spotlight being heavily investigated by the NRL.
The NRL’s reputation cannot afford scandal that causes a large amount of supporter angst, that tells me they will ensure their outcome leads to removal or heavy reprimand and stern warning for anyone who is found to be at fault.

4578...sounds like a typical Campbelltown crowd
Ten times the crowd that will be there this year if Richo is shafted and the HBG are left to run things.. 4578 would be the good old days in that case i fear.. mate i just want the Wests Tigers to continue to improve under the plan and the visions that Benji and Richo were working on and the players were apparently buying in to… i was starting to see it coming to fruition and it had me excited …all this self inflicted sabotage from burgess and his cronies is so unnecessary and infuriating..

Subject: Concern About Governance of the Wests Tigers

To whom it may concern,

I’m writing to express my personal concern about the governance of the Wests Tigers. In my view, the influence of the debenture holders and HBG has been damaging to the club’s stability, progress, and long-term direction, harming members, supporters, and the reputation of the game.

I ask that the NRL review the situation and intervene with HBG before further harm is done to the club or the league.

Regards,

(Your name)
For anyone who may of missed this, I think steam is gathering.

💯 I’ve never cared who runs the club . I just want competent people. Who aren’t always trying to knife each other to get a seat closer to the front of the corporate box.

What power do you see the nrl having here ? Club is not bankrupt, other clubs previously have had a factional issues and shitfights , unless dodgy shit like was happening at the eels has been occurring the nrl have no power.

nrl can’t just step in because they are Incompetent and can’t build a decent team.

Pvl himself can get booted from the clubs , do you think the other clubs would allow nrl to step in and boot these clowns if nothing illegal has occurred as it would mean they could do this to there own clubs

Have you seen the replies everyone is getting that has emailed the NRL with their concerns over this latest Wests Tigers debacle ?
The reply does not suggest they will sit back and do nothing.
