As you know I have followed the mighty Magpies since 1963 and I'm now nearly 80 yoa.

Without doubt, what's happening currently are the darkest days since I started following footy.
But the next few days are going to be darker still.
Our JV hasn't worked and won't work while the Balmain side of the JV continue with the aggressiveness that's currently being displayed, and led by the chief head kicker and stirrer known on here as Cochise.

Ok I have had it with the whole magpies vs Balmain crap. Let it go. This forum is Wests Tigers. Don’t be coming at Suzi with your sarcastic disingenuous comments. Suzi does a great job trying to keep the peace here when members are behaving like tantrum throwing toddlers. She doesn’t get paid for the stress & it is a thankless job. If she suspends someone she will have damn good reason. I have seen some disgusting childish behaviour from posters in recent weeks. There is no need for the nasty name calling or temper tantrums. Contrary to what you may believe both former Balmain & former Magpie supporters have been guilty. This is about Wests Tigers and prior affiliations are of no concern. People that are stuck in that mind set would do better to go to a forum that is made for that if they are not willing to support Wests Tigers. Niggly & disingenuous comments are helping nobody & certainly not helping the Wests Tigers cause. This is not just aimed at BZN, it is about all the posters who insist on living in the past before the Wests Tigers. Something cooking, it was reported last week Richo had till Monday to make his decision cause HBG said he needed time. Now Richo says he will leave if pvl doesn't place them into administrators on Monday, conveniently the very same day he told HBG he would be ready with a decision. Looks to me Richo told HBG he needed time so he could get pvl, the commission and N.R.L hq involved to fix things once and for all. If pvl wasn't seriously considering it Richo would have already handed in his papers. Pvl must have used the past week to interview everyone involved. Iv no doubt Richo got Laundy in the media to say he wants to buy it, to demonstrate to pvl, the commission and the N.R.L they need to hold on to it too long. If Richo can pull this off and we end up free and privatised it's a much bigger coup than what he did to get Souths private.

He's a very shrewd operator and if Pvl is as switched on as people say and Wayne Pearce really is his closest ally and confidant in the commission then I can't see how Pvl does anything other than what Richardson's asking for. Pvl would be aware of his track record. He would know Richardson knows his stuff, if he's saying we need away from HBG then iv no doubt Pvl is listening. Whether he has the stomach for a stoush with them iv no idea. Though HBG havnt really come across as the most competent group. I think if the articles right tomorrow Richardson is Ceo under an N.R.L admin, with all board members reinstated and the 2 HBG members replaced by N.R.L appointed board members until the Laundys consortium make the purchase and fully privatise the Wests Tigers.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Chief Executive Officer Tony Mestrov has today informed the Club of his resignation ahead of his next career announcement.

Board Chairman Scott Penn said Mestrov has agreed to stay in his current role until the end of the year as part of a transition process. By agreement, Mestrov’s last day will be December 19.

I am struggling here to understand why "Sea Eagles" and NRL management is viewed as good?

Look I expected Siebold to tank the Eagles. He hasn't yet, he may when DCE leaves. (I expect he will).

This post is to highlight to you because it seems as though you don’t get the picture. This cause is a stand against a very tiny few minority which includes yourself.

I don't know I want a fully Privatized Wests Tigers...

Cashed up owners make some sense.

But the Nathan Tinkler knights was a trainwreck.


Returning to member control is probably too steep an ask. WT members are there, but were not made of money.

I hope Richo and all those concerned can give us a structure that respects fans while making our club, stable.
