And it looks like they might be reinstating at least one of those board members… so I assume they are admitting that they were wrong to act that in that manner ? Or do you still want to wait for further information that supports their initial actions? That isn’t coming Im tipping ..
Hysteria … from whom .., the media?
What’s to stop them removing 4 new independents in a months time under similar dubious circumstances?
I have emailed Richo several times over the last couple of years, and he has always replied. I emailed him the other day, specifically stating I did not expect a reply in the middle of all this mess. Would ypu really expect someone fighting for their job, their organisation's longevity, to stop and return, as you have suggested, hundred, if not thousands, of emails from Joe Bloggses like me? 🤔 I was more than happy with the acknowledgement to fans in his presser.Well he’s walked away with 1.5 million hasn’t he ?
He received hundreds if not thousands of emails from Wests Tigers fans offering their support and as far as I’m aware, I don’t think he replied to anyone.
I’m sorry if you don’t want to hear it, but I don’t think he gave a flying you know what about Wests Tigers.
They are.People are acting like HBG are absolute evil. I'm simply offering an idea that it might be how the other side see it.
They’ll only respond if it serves the HBG messageThey are.
I replied to a message of yours earlier and referenced an article where an active lawyer went on record to say that a faction within HBG have the goal to bring the magpies back and dismantle the Wests tigers joint venture.
Are we just meant to ignore this and assume their intentions are good? After the actions they took this week?
C'mon.
Speak softly but carry a big stick - you will go far. NRL is operating via the Theodore Roosevelt book of diplomacy.SMH is reporting that O'Farrell may be reinstated as chairperson after talks between HBG and NRL.

I'll believe Barry and Benji stories when it happens. For now it's a really good way to shut down and minimise the upcoming rally.
Come next week HBG changes their mind. Wouldn't surprise me as who can trust them.
Hopefully Latu if he can ever stay on the field for longer than half a game. The answer is no.
Now in more interesting news, Who is playing 7 for us next year?
Doueihi was a good fill in at times but surely won’t be the primary?
What type of mgmt throws a grenade into an organisation which has worked hard under its board and CEO to improve on field and off field results. I have no doubt the NRL are mindful of future tv rights and sponsorship and the private sector will be monitoring how this is dealt with and future governance arrangements at WTs. The independent board members offered WTs a pathway to private sector sponsorship. This was a very shortsighted move which clearly was not discussed with the NRL beforehand.
The place is crazy. BOF gets the punt for no obvious reason, now he may get re-instated, so if he did something wrong they wouldn't re-instate him.
Talk of Brad Arthur as a possible coach to replace Benji, next hour - Benji offered a contract extension ??
So many stupid knee jerk reactions, just so unprofessional.
And more to the point, how is this getting out into the media. The place is a circus. The place is crazy. BOF gets the punt for no obvious reason, now he may get re-instated, so if he did something wrong they wouldn't re-instate him.

You just agreed with everything I wrote.Souths had no other option ... and there was no guarantee they would get reinstated.
Balmain didn't have to merge with anyone as they made the criteria, and on reflection, should have toughed it out.
Wests were in the same boat as Souths... but without the fan base.
Zero chance of reinstatement.
Don't kid yourself that Balmain didn't save Wests.
Now it's WestsTigers... so accept it and move on.
