You really just waffle on for the sake of it - there has been 1 year there was a Wests Tigers reserve grade side and it was immediately after Balmain Tigers demise. It lasted 1 year and reverted back to Wests Magpies. The calls to have reserve grade named Wests Tigers have been since then.

I used to follow the magpies before Wests Tigers - i only watch them now as a Wests Tigers reserve grade side - i bet half the people wanting them gone don't even watch or associate with reserve grade. i don't get what the gripe to get rid of them is about - changing the name is certainly not going to magically transform them in to a powerhouse of reserve grade.

All jokes aside. It's logical branding. Nothing more. Nothing less. It's seen as removing the Magpies rather than growing the WT brand.

It's a side issue for me that I can live with, but given a choice I'd make it WT based on consistent branding. I haven't made it an issue, but others feel strongly about it.

I've probably been one of the more active members during the last week and I haven't seen anyone suggest we get rid of the Wests magpies part of the venture (the football club, the junior catchment etc).. everyone just wants HBG out.

You are spinning the same narrative as others on here suggesting there's a plot against the Wests Magpies side of the venture, yet the HBG are the ones who are pushing for the division...

Unless you can be more specific as to what's being suggested and how exactly we are trying to dismantle the Wests side of the venture, then you're talking out your backside

I think we all know it’s highly likely it was all a ploy to upset Richo.
My theory is they stupidly thought it would not cause too much commotion sacking the board members and knew it would ultimately remove Richo who was the one they wanted out.
I assume they were also not aware Richo could move on and collect 1.5 million in the process.
It’s not even a secret that Enriched was receiving payments from Wests Tigers.
Even if they were done at a fair and reasonable cost and not a largely inflated cost which had been strongly suggested, you just wouldn’t do it due to a conflict of interest.

Kade7 comes out & suggests Richo isn't as clean as he paints himself- Kade7's rumours are generally pretty solid.

You are projecting your own insecurities into a conspiracy theory that theres a plot to overthrow the magpies.

You're concerned that the JV becomes the priority and not the Wests magpies (which is the way under HBG).

Not all of us are like the HBG directors. We just want what's best for the club as a joint venture.. not as Wests and not as Balmain.. the sooner you realise the bulk of us aren't dinosaurs with agendas, the sooner you will realise that the intent from all of this is good.

I've said it myself, id prefer Wests McArthur take ownership.. give them 90%.. most of us would probably agree it's the right play... So how is that a secret sneaky agenda? I look forward to your response specifically to this part of my post - because someone with a sneaky agenda trying to spin it, wouldn't then advocate for Wests McArthur, would they?

I would give Richo a break re the "investigation". Richo had a conflict of interest and that conflict was declared to the board. The timing of all this just Reeks of petty board infighting. Infact I really wish investigations remained 'private' unless the allegations are rather well founded i.e. "he put an axe through my arm, and here is the xray showing an axe". Not "I saw Richo doing something corrupt"

O'Farrell and the other independent directors need to clear their names.
By coming back they can prove to different boards that they are competent. They will likely stay awhile now. ... Plus they may just like this club.
