Some of that is quite obviously true.

Funny thing- we talk about a club with massive turnover of coaches & administrators.

Justin Pascoe was CEO for 8 years.

Lee was at the Tigers for 4 years on the board

The upheaval has really only come after their removal- which everyone was calling for. Were HBG formally accused of not changing often enough?

This 💯. We all just want better people involved . For once when someone says “it’s not personal “when it totally is . We can definitely say that this is 💯 personal . And 💯 the issue is the people . If you can’t get over yourself you need to move on . I have noticed a lot of new names at HBG is the latest rundown I saw , so hopefully some fresh ideas and people with a clue actually making decisions .

Has the Board been the same for “over a decade” ?
Same individuals ?

If not, then that can hardly be described as a constant.

The only real constants have been - Wests Tigers, Leichhardt, Campbelltown and stress free September’s 🤷‍♂️

Yea agree. Still that type of speech is a Pandora’s box . Once it’s out there …. Anyways . The guy has obvious mental health issues , and has hitched his wagon , like many others I’ve seen so he’s not alone , to a collection of powerbrokers who didn’t deem the identity he’s protecting to be suitable enough moving into the future . Ie. Wests Ashfield - HBG.
And not only have they really betrayed the wests history by changing the name , to try and catch the disenchanted Balmain fans , but really through mismanagement and infighting actively destroying the future of the child of both those original clubs - Wests tigers .
You would think that when you follow the logic they would be the ones petitioning , not mocking and undermining others . It’s so weird how the human brain works . How people can be loyal to something that’s obviously acting against thier best interest … anyways

The only change that’s happened has been since the petition brought about the review.
Since then it’s been HBG Game of thrones … and the new faces that are brought . All have to adhere to the value of promoting wests an thier ideals … so stooges to enforce who ever is in power .

Maybe the board members have not been constant, but the board being a shambles has been absolutely constant and will continue to be a shambles while they are only answerable to themselves under there debenture system. When is the penny ever going to drop, that it is not their own exclusive club, it’s the members and fans club. Till both the members of the football club and licensed club have full voting rights nothing changes

The Board members have changed considerably over the years.
There’s nothing constant about the makeup of either the HBG or WT Boards over the past decade or so (as you claimed)

At their own hand - through backstabbing and infighting and promoting people not fit for purpose - hence the instability and the perception around the club. No one thinks this is a well run club accept the apologists terrified of losing control instead of aiming for success.

The board members may have changed but from what I understand the majority come from the debenture holders and any new debenture holders have been ‘accepted/selected’ by the existing debenture holders.

Haha I get your point, but surely going from Balmain and Wests too create Wests Tigers, there is zero chance V'Landys would then force another move, for example the Auckland Tigers are born .Not going to ever happen.HBG will die on there sword or be forced to sell..
