I suppose we won’t need to hold our breath hoping for major change , both boards I think will be loaded up with HBG , Tigers board was excellent last year , to good for HBG to handle , even Dennis being on that board was asleep while good things got done

If you find yourself in the minority against a large number of voices, perhaps the "commonality" of sense has shifted away from you.

He's a basket case.. but its a very valid point... but who determines pricing? Hbg or the football club?

HBG of course set the ticketing prices. You don’t think they would leave such a sensitive commercial decision to anyone else.

As of now it appears the vast majority of our players are more than happy with Benji as their coach.
Our best chance of getting some stability within our playing roster was to lock in on Benji and make all the players aware he is with us long term.
I’ve stated many times I am not overly impressed with the playing roster we currently have, but it’s decent, has plenty of potential and it would be a total disaster if we started looking for a new coach and had a mass player exodus because of it.
For these reasons we had virtually no other choice other than to go all in with Benji and hope it pays off.
Benji’s strength is no doubt his strong connection and bond with most of the playing group, particular the ones on his favoured list.
That’s not uncommon, human nature says a coach will always get along better with the players on his favoured list that are playing regularly and in a happy state of mind.
The challenge for Benji and an area where I feel he needs to continually improve is his relationships with our fringe players and the ones that are out of favour in regards to form or team selection.
This is an area where the master coaches such as Bennett have always excelled and it quite often pays dividends with struggling or unknown players often excelling when given an opportunity.

The only reason that stability was needed was because HBG caused the instability in the first place. Benji is the least credentialed coach in the competition & he's now locked in for the next 5 years Lol. More brilliant work by the Holman Barnes Group.

Mate, if it’s a business ... they kick both Leichhardt & Campbelltown to the gutter. Play all games at one of the big stadiums and charge less to get bigger crowds

We have committed to the suburban grounds for the next 15 years, which puts the home ground discussion into a clear context.

Not sure I'm a fan of playing in empty stadiums just so a few struggling families can go to the footy though.

Honestly, if you can't afford $27 for your kid once in a while, how would making the ticket $10 or $15 make any difference? That family has bigger problems that can't be solved by a cheap kids footy ticket.

People want a profitable club, great facilities and the resources to compete with the big guys as long as it doesn't affect their pocket and someone else is paying bill. The handout entitlement is astounding.
