HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

Benji and luai seem ok with it. Is that enough for you?
Before or after Luai approached the owners?

Go and watch Benjis interview after it all went down, he was clearly rattled.

Its hilarious you lot stand behind these BS statements like Benji and Luai were going to come out publicly bag them.. behind closed doors they probably think they are a bunch of idiots- i know that as much as you know the above.

Footy manager not CEO perhaps
Are you the chap that got sacked, held a grudge and decided to anonymously report Richo to the NRL for replacing you with his son? Or another Magpie stooge on the forum?

For all the wank talk about letting it go and moving on from HBG trying to destroy the club again, it seems those same people want to bring up Richo at every turn.

HBG have just announced they are providing free counselling to anyone present the other day who witnessed the inflatable magpie.
You don't think a giant Magpie is confusing for a club who's emblem is a Tiger Gal?
If it was a Wests Magpies day makes sense but if it was promoted to Wests Tigers supporters/ fans the Giant Magpie couldn't be missed, but good luck finding the Tiger.
I'm sure the old Maggies loved it and pretty sure it was there to send a message..what exactly will be interpreted differently depending on who you ask. From where I sit had an element of shit stirring about it and it worked. Professional approach to Wests Tigers moving forward not so sure.

@area52 You really need to get on some of the other forums and see what they think of the club after the December idiocy. Maybe we're all biased on here, so go see what they say. Or any of the numerous podcasts.

Even the chat now around Makasini now has connotations of how he deserves better, and how well he'd go at a proper club.

We're not a laughing stock because of richo. That's 100% HBG.

There is no one, absolutely zero people of note, who agree with their actions. Just a few crazies on here who twist into knots to try to point elsewhere.

I thought it was a wests ashfield event so I'd expect to see wests ashfield advertising

I'm not confused though, we're still the Wests Tigers .
If it was shit stirring then it only worked on a dozen people, I'm sure most don't give a rats

Yeh its a pity HBG own the club but they do.

I think its perfectly rationale to wait until the season starts until the pitch forks come out.

But if people want to run their mouths on the internet about HBG (before the season starts) that's fine but unsure how they find the time when they probably have a million other online protest going again Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon Palestine or what ever the next internet trend is.

Kind of sounds you'll be disappointed or confused on what do to if we start to win.

Name the last 3 coaches the tigers didnt have to pay out of their contracts?

So when a rookie coach with no prior coaching experience is tabled a reactionary 5 year deal after 2 spoons and a 13th... its a no brainer. If he fails, he gets paid out big time.

What else you going to try spin?
Really poor decision when even Benji said he didn't deserve it.

All brought about by the instability that HBG caused.

I get where you are coming from but I'm an optimist. You are correct in that the passing of the old brigade will make it easier to achieve.

I shake my head when I see it on here all of the time - we are all here becase we support Wests Tigers but some can't help but continee to bring up the past.

If we can get the rusted ons here to start talking about one club with one structure and an aligned future there is a chance we could change the narrative.

Utopian view I know, but if everyone on this forum spoke to every other fan they know about aligned boards and a single identity based on the foundation of Wests and Balmain and that discussion can be sold - there is opportunity. We can't force HBG to change or they will do what they have just done - circle the Wagons and put up the defences. I can only assume that they felt threatened by Richo and the independent board.

What if the HBG came to the realisation that there was more power in a single united entity that the factional approach to the JV. Even with 90% ownership they haven't been able to overcome it.

With the archaic debenture system I can't see there being a drive from the top down unless the unclean are putting soft pressure on from below.

It has to start somewhere so whay can't we all be better people and lead by example?
I used to feel the same as you . But watching guys like @Bus 2 Terrigal Lagoon and @BZN , and that guy on social media Stamo , deliberately sow division as if it were sport , and treat it like a game of 1 upsmanship , makes me realise it’s just not possible .
And the weird thing is I’m not even sure they know these people on HBG . It’s like a loyalty to nothing , knowing the years of failure at the club , and the poor judgement of the people running it , are irrelevant to them as long as the idea that wests are getting one over Balmain or something like that .
It’s a weird headspace to be .” I don’t care if clowns are running the show into the ground , they’re my clowns”.
