I know im gonna get bagged for this topic, but seriously we are imposters in this top eight. That guttless performance tonight has done if for me. No other team in the comp has the injuries souths had tonight and they still won. Prediction 5 game losing streak for tiges and probably finish 9th. AGAIN. It has nothing to do with Sheens. We have to many over paid under acheivers that put bumbs on seats. That is what rugby league has now become. And they want more lol. I was gonna go tomorrow but nope. I would rather mow the lawn which is what im gonna do.. RIP tigers.

I agree with the pathetic performance, however the coaching staff DO have to answer for the performance…..
Who developed the game plan?
Who revved them up at half time?
Who was sending out instructions during the game?
Lets face it......the whole bunch in 2010 are unreliable and to make it worse...
They spend more time reading crap about themselves or appearing on wanker TV than they do being honest about their playing performances!

This I do agree with, if they had their usual roster tonight we would have been pumped again.

They certainly didn't tackle hard last night. I don't think there was a problem with the running, just having a good dig in defence.

sheens has coached them to try to take all sting out of the game as he thinks it leads to rushes of blood and dumb play.
It's noticeable in the forwards in defence (zero big hits and that's got to be a coaching direction) and very few hard charges from deep. We rely on footwork and changes of angle rather than power and aggression. (and when someone gets fires up is normally when they get benched)
In the backs the most obvious illustration is how every fullback we have is coached to just settle the ball back to under the posts rather than head down and run at the opposition.
This has been going on for years because it worked in the quick ruck games of '05.
It doesn;t work now and hasn;t for some time.

There are guys who show heart week in, week out. The pigs did their job again last night and were let down by braindead options by the halves and poor execution by Lote & Ryan.

yep. even the early WT years. at least ran and tackled hard. why do our forwards stand so flat when taking a hit up?! fdinkum rhino runs harder than any of our forwards (who are mostly loitering in the centres) and look at the size of him. id forgive all the stupid, silly errors and bonehead plays if we had some starch in the middle. jc, imagine if burgess, taylor and co had a gallop last night 😱pen_mouth:

either a player or coach comes out with something in the papers and we lose, seems to happen on a regular basis

One thing I've noticed in recent weeks especially in our losses is that we are losing the wrestle and the speed of the play the ball is killing us. Opposition teams are lying all over us and holding us down in the tackles longer whereas the tigers seem to roll away quicker off the opposing players a la 2005\. I mean its good if the same game was being played on each side but we are letting sides play the ball quicker which is killing our defence.

i agree with what you are saying except the part when you say it has nothing to with sheens ….
sheens cannot get these players up for the games we should win easy because he is stale and the players know if they fail they will still be there next week ... the guy shows the confidence when he brings a player up , and then he plays him out of position....farah is not a halfbacks backside ,yet he plays him at no 9 and has him at first reciever and slots benji in at first reciever when farah is at dummy half ., maenwhile his number 7 is at third reciever or way out in the backline ....
farah is a top player ... but he isnt the organiser this side needs last night was the final straw for me ... as long as sheens is in charge i wont be ATTENDING OR SPENDING MY HARD EARNED on this embarrasment they call the wests tigers .....
we have done exactly the same every year except 2005 ...
we deserve more from OUR team ...buy a decent halfback or get used to fininshing just outrside the top 8 ... and btw even if we do limp in , we are just gunna make up the numbers ......

We went to battle against Cowgirls , Sharks and Souths with the same hype , they are bottom of the table , they are more hungry for a win for the new coach and they are missing troops but 1 thing that the tigers did in all 3 games was struggle ..
In the media it was said it was going to be tough for us ( we made the call) and then on the field we showed everyone it was infact true , Why ? because we didnt prepare well for these games ..and its simply that..
If we had to aim up Panthers , Eels and Storms in the last 3 games i bet the team would have tried harder and prepared better..
Which team lets Cowgirls and Sharks trouble them … no one but we did . we made them look good..

In some ways this is justice for what happened against the sharks , they were cheated a try and maybe a win and KARMA came and bit us this week ... :frowning:
