Hi guys, ive been a lurker for a while but this has brought me out from hiding.

Dont ask for my source but i can confirm that NO chris heignington wont be released from the last 12 months of his contract nor does he want to go, i can say that adam blair is signed but he is the ONLY major signing for 2012 the clean out is for 2013 and beyond. Also i cant be 100% so dont hold me to this part but robert lui may be released at the end of the year. There are 2 north of the border clubs currently in talks with the tigers in regards to robert

i hope your source knows that Heighington is contracted for two more yrs and not one

Welcome ol' mate, hope you are right,I think Heighno loves this club, and I wouldn't mind Lui moving on,Miller is the future for us I reckon, maybe Sheens can see this too.

Why are all these players being chased mid-contract?

Gibbs, Fifita, Mckinnon all had time left, add Fulton, Moltzen(?), Ryan and Heighno who are all signed for at least the next two years.

Just seems a little odd?

I'm a massive Tigers fan, so when I saw Heigno get out of the car I just stopped," Askew said.

"Then when I saw Gus Gould in the corner waiting for him, I was shattered."

Askew said he approached Heighington to ask whether the tough lock intended on leaving the Wests Tigers.

"He said, 'No chance mate'," Askew said.

no offence but nothing you say ever makes sense, and this post is no exception

how many players need to go to fit in blair? i know we've had a few upgrades (woods, ayshford, etc) but at the same time we've let go: payten, mckinnon, fifita, gibbs, and probably will let go daniella, moors, etc. i'd hate to see heighno go and i'm not happy about having lost fifita…

the reason is because they are clearing space for big moves in 2013 and beyond so players with 2 years left on their deals if unwanted beyond they are being given permission to negotiate, the reason fulton is still here is because no club was interested in him so we are stuck with him until an offer comes in or his contract expires, contrary to what people believe or want to believe fifita was let go because of his attitude towards training and he showed no signs of improving.

Though i believe if focused he will be one of the most devestating front rowers to play the game the tigers werent willing to accept his laxed approach to training and the team in general.

Come 2013 i would expect only half of the current squad to be in tigers colours if rumblings around tigertown are true

Even for the Telegraph this is an amazingly poor piece of journalism. Firsly he calls the team West Tigers then he comes up with this corker of a sentence:

**Heighington 's agent Wayne Beavis has fielding any approach from the Penrith Panthers, and also confirmed he was not with the lock at the time in question on Tuesday.**

And the basis for the story? One bloke who reckons he saw it even though everyone else pretty much said it didn't happen. Nice work Josh…

He's iliterate

Heighington was having lunch in cronulla today with Gibbs, fifita, Gallen and the sharks coach. I ran past and a young kid was yelling out 'go tigers'.
What does it all mean?
Probably just hungry…

They may as well call themselves the Cronulla Magpies - Collis, Morris, Gibbs, Fifita, Hino ? Fulton ?

Sheens has let Heighno know that in a full strength side he will be playing off the bench next season. Thats the reason behind him having a look around other clubs.

In my opinion a backrow of Heighno, Blair and Ellis is one of the best in the comp and Dwyer is an impact player nothing more his hands are too unreliable and can make silly misreads in defence hopefully a brillaint second half to the year helps Sheens change his mind.

Highno has been told he can negotiate with other clubs. This is not rumour etc, Sheens has confirmed it.

Naturally, clubs like Penrith and Cronulla will be interested. He's a 7.5/10 most weeks type player who plays nearly every game and never takes a moment off. He's going to be in demand.

Wouldn't be too many clubs who would not want him . Titans ,Knights (heard someone mention that earlier ), Tigers Oh thats right our coach thinks that Simon Dwyer is a better player than Rhino

:roll
Sheens has spent years playing a 60min player for 80mins.
And NOW that player is playing the best footy of his career and has developed into an 80min player, supercoach reckons he will be playing off the bench next year.

One of your best Sheens…love your honest answers..

I didnt realise beau was a tigers Player i thought he was already a panthers player along with being contracted to every other team in the comp as when ryan plays it appears the tigers only have 12 on the field whilst the opposing sides all have 14.

How does sheensy honestly justify picking this nuffie each week?
