Yes those balls Lawerance was passing to you should of been caught. Are you on the clean out list HOPE SO!

They should have been hitting him in the bread basket but he was two steps off the pace. Lawrence is used to having a winger that can position himself. Brown and Ryan have to be the worst positioned wingers on Earth. Inept.

Lawrence threw him a couple of ordinary passes tonight. His timing was not 100% but I reckon there's some promise between those two as a combo. Having said that I'd be shifting Brown to fullback next week and getting Tuqiri and Utai back on the wings to help the Tigers go forward.

In Browms defence I dont think the passes werent great,as youd expect from a 3 mth layoff..but we must have the 2 slowest wingers in the comp

Atleast lote and utai run it back with abit of pace…. Ryan, Mckinnon, Brown and Moltzen do my head in running the ball back....

In fact,Ryan McKinnon & Moltzen are looking for someone else to run it back,& will run sideways & pass under pressure to offload the responsibility

Brown was there, but Chris' passes were rushed or early. Brown was far from our worst tonight.

The problem for Mitch is that he is a fullback and not a winger or a centre - but he hasnt been able to make fullback his own. Lawrences timing was off but that is expected after 3 months and with a new winger when he would have been going on reflex. On the other hand Chris did show great committment and some amazing signs of what we have been missing.

As for the back 3 - Get Lote and Utai back on the wings and we will look a better team. Mitch should move to fullback IMO as Wade has had his time and as much as I love Beau bench at best.

Rowdy threw a few shocking flick-type ones early , but he also put two or 3 decent passes out there that Brownie just muffed - esp second half where he drew the winger and pumped the pass, Brown was about 2m too slow.

Then Rowdy spent the remainder of the game holding the pass up late so Brown could actually hit it. Safe but pedestrian!

I thought brown was hard done by last night.

He had a great game relative to some of the bigger names out there.

x3,lets hope Teflon agrees.

Brown's no more than a stop-gap fullback or interchange.

Why not try Mullaney? No point in persisting with MacKinnon or Brown when the season is on the skids.

Im happy with the current situation @ the club with the clean out of players.

This is the best thing to happen since the G.F win in 2005\. We have been day dreaming ever since. This is the wake up call the club needed. I dont care what Benji, Farah, Sheens or whoever else wants to have a cry about thinks. This isn't school yard football where you select your best mates in your side, this should be pure business. Players come & go and we aren't the only club in the nrl to let go of players.

The most prominent sporting teams in the world, especially in soccer throw big money into luring stars into there teams to chase that success. Forget friendship, loyalty, emotions. If you want to build a powerhouse & be a winning formula, you do it by keeping the gems & allow trade for the rest.

Im not sad at all that 5 payers or so will no longer be at the club next year. We will free up room in the salary cap to buy 1-2 key signings who will actually be worth the price on there contract.

We dont need to replace 5 'losses' with 5 key signings, aslong as we can sign 2 key players, we have plenty of young rising stars who can take the field & fill in & do a much better job then some of the players in the current squad.

FB position should be given to 1 of the youngsters or we should make a serious offer to a current specialist in the NRL.
