They have ESL written all over them. Hoffman is the only one I would consider but his asking price would be high. Douglas is a very good NRL forward, but I do not want block a pathway for JJ with a ageing player

Mead wants to play fullback so won't come here.
The rest are all meh. Too old to make a huge difference now and the Titans won't be paying any of their salaries if they let them go early so we'll be paying overs for has beens…

They'd all have something to offer us…. at the right price, which won't be on offer. I doubt we'll offer serious money to anyone unless Farah leaves.

I think Hoffman could be good, i believe he does kick goals from memory might be thinking of someone else though. Worth a punt if the titans are picking up his wage 1 yr contract to play for an extension.

I would lock up,Taylor before any of this lot , he has given us what we have needed , sign him up,in 3 year and then spend on others

There are a number of clubs currently being propped up financially by the NRL and we are one of them, I think that we are well placed with future talent not to pillage teams in similar circumstances, leave that to St Merge who are desperate enough to go after any basket case on offer.
Their signing of Sims from Newcastle was a pathetic attempt to try and gain success and cripple the Knights, fair dinkum we hear about the great breeding grounds of Rugby League but some of the so called great breeding grounds continue to pillage the less successfull.

Nobody should let the Titans rid of them and then they will be forced into not resigning the guys they want to keep. Paasi namely, who would be great for us.
I was driving up the Coast last night, so didn't get to see the game (Titians V St George) but the radio commentators were mentioning how fast Hoffman is. They also mentioned how well he was playing as he is unwanted by the Titians and looking for a contract. Sounded like he beat his opposite ( Atkin, I think) a couple of times through good footwork and speed.
Coast were very clinical last night but the Dragons were absolutely dire! Although as we know Benji is now past his best, it seems they are utterly clueless in attack if he isn't there! That said, they always seem to find another gear when they play us so we need to bring our A game when we play them next round.

Jamaal Idris wants to come back to the NRL, say's he has been training and this time his head is right and he wants to play, realised he shouldn't have walked away but say's he needed to.
He is only 26 and would be cheap, maybe worth a shot, if he played like we know he can he would fix our right centre problem.
