Josh Hoffman, William Zillman, Luke Douglas and David Mead have all been told they are free to negotiate with other clubs despite having contracts next year with the Titans, apart from Mead who is off contract and has been told he will not be re signed.

We could possibly pick up Hoffman with a subsudised contract or even Mead on the cheap. Everyones thoughts?

I'd take Hoffman and Mead. Douglas is getting on a bit now, at least you could bank on him being able to front up 99/100 games though.

I like what we have better than Douglas. Zillman hell no. Mead sure he would be good on a wing and a great backup fullback. Hoffman would want too much for what he would likely deliver as a centre (which is the only place I would play him).

If we could only sign one I would take Hoffman for sure. Would be a handy replacement for Teddy if he gets injured or plays Origin

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofo
3\. Hoffman
4\. Simona
5\. Naiqama

Pass on all

Would consider Hoffman but on the right money (most likely won't come cheap), I'd try to get Greg Bird off there hands.

I like Birdy, he offers us his passion, experience and grubby type player which I like.

Also imo a very good footballer!

i find hoffman and mead very similar. if hoffman has a contract for next year and mead doesnt, i'd go for hoffman coz titans will be footing some of his wage.

it's funny we are all looking for a back who can cover centre/wing/fullback and can goal kick as well. we have a poor man's version of that in rankin currently.

Time has come not to buy other clubs rejects ..why are they rejects in the first place ?

It's alright if you're taking rejects off teams above you on the ladder.

Idk how excited i'd be for any of them. I don't think Hoffman is that much better of a player than Kev in all honesty. Plus Broncos fans weren't too sad to see him leave, and i don't think he's too popular with Titans fans either. We need some experience out wide though, which is where Mead could be good for a yr or two.

Idk how much the club will have to spend though, cos they will probably be flat out retaining ET and Sue. Unless the Titans boys are still contracted and the Gold Coast is paying some of their way.

I'd definitely take Mead for the right money as he's an experienced quality finisher. Not sure about Hoffman. He looked very talented when Brisbane had the surplus of fullbacks but he seems to have lost a step and is probably not as good in the centres….Pass on the other two.

Pass on them all - The Titans coach I consider to be very astute and he wouldn't be letting them go if they had anything to offer.

As for someone talking up Bird, well past it, if he ever was in front of it. A super grub that I wouldn't be happy with, even at his best.

If everyone though Nofo was embarrassing at milking penalties, you could make a 15 minute highlight reel of Bird getting first contact on the chest and falling to the ground like he'd been coathangered.

Elijah Taylor?

Grant, Austin, Taupau, This list is long
Having said that I wouldn't be throwing any money at these Titians players. We could take one or two if Titians pay for them .
We need to get our own house in order first. Teddy's four year deal. After that the Moses for a three year deal.
Then go out looking for a gun second rower and/or centre that is a 70% plus Goalkicker.
