No one can argue that the Holden wasn't a quality car up until about 25 years ago

I wouldn't even think about buying a Holden now ...we are currently looking ....didn't even get a mention

No one will buy one now
They will need to give them away soon

Good to get on if you're on a car allowance. I read somewhere that the Colorado's will go for $17K for a good high end one. I'd have it paid off in two years and if I could flog it for $5-10K after that you still have a nice down payment on the next vehicle.

Hahahhahahahaha.
Good post.

Why wouldn't you? A ute would serve me well. I always look for practicality and price when looking at cars. I'm not someone who needs a Merc. That'll come when it's time to settle down.

Lol... I know some one who copped one recently for like 50k

As do I. Z71 for $17K? Why the hell not. After sales are going to be around for 10 years still. Sell it with warranty and you'll get more for it again.

Doubt they’ll be going for 17k !

Apparently they are being heavily written down to get rid of them. GM must really want out. My mate is an area manager and could get me 13K off one at full price. Might ask the question and see what he can do. I'm trading in the Camry in June so even with the early carry over I'll be miles in front and I'll still have a dual cab ute. That's the reason I don't have a Hilux. Can't justify the near on 60K for an SR5.

Aren’t the z71 50k new ?
The HSV version is 75k plus
Hilux 2.7 workmate for the win ...can’t kill em !

Toyota stay winning

As a Tradie ..its the ultimate bread winner mate !

Agreed, I have a Camry SX. It's a 2014 model so prior to the reintroduction of the V6 SX, but it's leather interior and the creature comforts are great for a $36K car. Was going to trade up to the SX again with the 3.5L V6 Aurion motor.

I want a CHR so bad...
But got weddings to plan and renovations to complete

Dreams are free.

CHR is a chicks car ?

You getting hitched bro ?

Make sure I get an boss and myself get an invite ?

Sick car.
Lol ayyy

They do look good I agree..
My mates mrs just got one !
Think it’s a 1.5 turbo ?
Ok as a grocery getter !

I bet you love the ad on tv ?

Value for money as a family car goes you can’t beat an xtrail

We had an 07 T30 Ti model ..
We purchased it in 09 for 19k ( had 30000ks on the clock)
We sold it last October for $1600 with
420000 on the clock and it never ever missed a beat and we still see it getting around the traps ...
We since purchased a 2013 xtrail with 55k’s on the clock for only 11k !

I won’t spend more than 10k ish on a car for the mrs as they don’t look after them ..they end up trashed inside ( full of hair and crap )
...parking dings and scuffed up wheels ?

Camrys are good cars but they are so boring to drive ...
But now Volvo make good cars , all of the ?Volvo drivers have migrated into the Camry !

Not going to be boring with 235kW hanging off the front end through Woodford bends haha.

That’s when you want the Skyline with rear wheel steer !

If want a pram with a rocket strapped to it I'll buy a Hayabusa.

Good to get on if you're on a car allowance. I read somewhere that the Colorado's will go for $17K for a good high end one. I'd have it paid off in two years and if I could flog it for $5-10K after that you still have a nice down payment on the next vehicle.

Hahahhahahahaha.

Yea decent.
I wouldn't buy one anyway....
Feel sorry for the suckers who copped em top price tho.

I'll put my hand up
Bought an LTZ with the Maxpac
Metallic Silver
Beautiful car to look at and to drive
3 years old now but only 20000 km on the clock
Luckily for me it is also a tax write off
It's never been off road
I plan to keep it
I also have a 2016 Navara STX which I bought second hand but in mint condition
It has nothing on the Colorado
I did plan to trade it in on another Colorado which I still may do if the price is right on a new one
Otherwise it will be a Ranger
