I don't mind Holden's they pay the majority of my bills especially some of the imported re badged trash.

I use to own an original LX Torana similar to this one
That was 30 years ago
Bought it off a mate
It went alright
Had a bit of work done to it
The older cars were easy to work on yourself back then
Traded it for a work ute when I opened up my 1st business
Wish I still had the car
They don't make them like that anymore

Good to get on if you're on a car allowance. I read somewhere that the Colorado's will go for $17K for a good high end one. I'd have it paid off in two years and if I could flog it for $5-10K after that you still have a nice down payment on the next vehicle.

Why wouldn't you? A ute would serve me well. I always look for practicality and price when looking at cars. I'm not someone who needs a Merc. That'll come when it's time to settle down.
