One thing I haven't seen in this thread is a response to Talua playing well. He was pretty poor. That wasn't a debut to remember. He might come good but based on that game he isn't a great option for us today. Hopefully he shows more if he gets more chances.

With 30% possession it’s pretty hard to be outstanding when all you are doing all night is tackling your butt off. I thought Talua went OK under the circumstances. Well worth giving another go or two.

Signed 2 years recently with Donkeys

Reports are he may or take it up as his business in Sydney is going well. Penrith will make a play.

@mike looked fast, something we have needed

Yes indeed. Made a good 20-25 meters coming off our line in one run. It made me sit up and take notice.

And that was surrounded by Manly players. They struggled to contain him.

JUST IN - Josh Reynolds confirms to Saturday @TripleM_NRL that he’ll definitely be playing for @WestsTigers against the Knights @ Campbelltown Stadium next Saturday

Reynolds on triple said he's been told he'll be in the team next week at dummy half. Hes not sure if starting or off the bench

Reynolds is not a 9, he is a 6, but ET is no 9 either, whoever said the other week we are having a good run with injuries really cursed us

Wests Tigers will be signing Bill wlters from Melbourne next week. He can play five eight or hooker.

"Will", u 100% sure about that rumour?

Sad to see Robbie Farah on crutches today. Nominated Moses Mbye to be future @WestsTigers hooker with Jacob Liddle to miss entire 2020 campaign.

I hope that if Moses does go to hooker they have a very good replacement for the centre position...could be Talau..if they were realistic then we need a specialist hooker to play the role for next year,Moses may step up and do the job well,I really don't know..
It seems that we are playing the' patch up the spot game' until Liddle comes good..In my opinion for us to go forward we do need an excellent hooker who can play 80 and deliver quick service, having said that,we haven't the resources to buy one ….I just hope we can go forward next year and not end up being cellar dwellars because we haven't a good 9 ….

NEW KING AT STRUGGLING TIGERS?
By The Mole

The 2020 kickoff is still seven months away, but the Tigers already have a massive problem to contend with. Robbie Farah's retirement and Jacob Liddle's serious knee injury last weekend has left the Tigers without a recognised hooker for the start of the season. Warriors hooker Issac Luke has put his hand up to join the club and now another contender has emerged.

Former Dragons and Eels hooker Cameron King is killing them in England's second division and believes he can help the Tigers. His manager has contacted the club hoping a deal can be done.

I wouldn't think Jake will miss the entire season.
