Thought Reynolds did well today, played with plenty of enthusiasm. Played in horrid conditions, it would of been hard for anyone to stand out. Though Taylor tackled everything, Clark carried the ball up strongly, Bradley shows potential and Gamble seems to handle whatever position they put him in, and feel he should be playing fg now.

Yeah good post..I just watched the game expecting a diabolical display after reading the live game thread..it was far from that..only 7 errors in those conditions was quite good..

I think people expect them to score of every set and limit the opposition to 10m

Reynolds was busy all game, Madden was solid Taylor, Clark, Bradley, Momirovski, Gamble, Robson and Heleta were all heavily involved..McQueen and Garner were quiet Mcqueen with a few errors and brain explosions in defence looked frustrated..

It's difficult with the amount of changes each week chopping and changing halves outside backs and forwards to build combinations and get consistency..half the team would be training with FG most of the week with only 1 or 2 full sessions at most together before playing a game..

Do you really reckon that kick was clutch? I'd say clutch is a planned attack strategy that comes off, not a post-siren "oh I have the ball and the defence is on me, suppose I better kick it" hail-Mary.

A some have said earlier, with a new halves partner Madden who it looked like he met an hour before the game, it seemed like the team instructions were for Madden to lead the team around with kicking etc but it soon become obvious he was struggling and Reynolds had to try take over.
Team looked more balanced and dangerous when Gamble was on the field.

Fairly hard game for anyone to stand out with the wet, heavy conditions.
Reynolds got more involved toward the back of the game but was running on tired legs by then.
Agree with the post saying his next will be a better indicator.

@derekderekson If we don't see the kid as a future first grader we should just get rid of him first chance we get. Either that or give him another go in NRL. Last time he got a run in first grade the whole team played bad as I recall.
