I also like him being first receiver though he is getting a bit slow for it. I could imagine him and Benji try to weave some magic - hope so anyway.

This is why Brooks was going backwards - Farah at first receiver over calling. Brooks needs to show he is the boss now.

However i do hope Farah gives good quick service (without running one or two steps) to the halves to give them more time and Packerlino to be able to run onto the ball. If he does that, he will have done a good job.

I for one hope Farah takes a couple of steps. He needs to engage those markers and draw the defence.

Its been sadly missing.

Brooks will thank him for it as it will open the game up for him.

If he shovels it out Jason Taylor style Brooks is an easy predictable target. All form teams in 2018 have a hooker who is engaging the markers or at the very least keeping the defence in two minds.

Theres a time and a place for both quick immediate service and engaging markers.

Its not for me to work out. Its for Ivan and Farah. They have a job at hand.

Way too sideways on Sunday. No forwards ran for metres, no forwards came on to the ball. Seemed the game plan to hit them on the edges on 2nd and 3rd tackle.

We havent learnt much from that one as far as Farah is concerned.
