How to get to skilled park?

I'm taking the family next week, and even though I live up here, never been to Skilled Park.

Any advice on best way to get there with family?

I think it's best to park elsewhere and take a bus in, from what I've been told you get a free bus there if you have your ticket on you, but you'd have to double check that.

I was planning on going myself, but I have to work Saturday and Sunday, early starts in the mornings :/

Follow the signs to the the bus parking mate.

Leave your car there and get the bus, it sounds bad but it's actually quite a good set up.

What about from Surfers? Taking the wife down from Brisbane, I hope the behaviour of the Tigers supporters is better than when we were at the SFS at Easter!

just watch out for the bikies at robina lol.Nah just go down the gold coast highway south than turn left onto hooker bvl at pac fair.keep going to bermuda st and turn left than right at makeri.follow makeri st till the end and than turn left onto robina parkway.than right on cheltenham dr at the lights

Thanks BTF Used to have a unit at Burleigh. Thinking public transport

If you get there early enough you can park at the cricket club or the pubs at Robina & Ashmore as they run free shuttle bus'. You can no longer park at the shopping centre as they have put on extra security. If you want to pay for parking you can park at the hospital & walk over the rail bridge. If coming from Brisbane park at Carrara & catch the shuttle.

I found it is easier to just catch the train from Brisbane. Free public transport.

And hopefully the crowd will be better than the SFS. We on the Gold Coast have so much class… Just stick clear of Robina Town Centre!

or catch the train, takes you right to the ground and its free with a ticket to the titans

x2 only because after the game the line up for the buses is so huge and cramped.

If your driving down, park at Helensvale Train Station and get the Free Train. There is a few places to eat at Helensvale to fill the kids up before you get to the ground.

If your staying down, there is Free busses from the Titanium Bar on Ferny Ave in Surfers Paradise.

Most people get there at leisure, but leaving is a nightmare. If your driving back up to the Sunny Coast, don't expect to get home before midnight.

Is parking at the hospital a genuine option? I dont care if you have to pay.

No, cops usually around that area directing traffic.

Where are you coming from on the GC?

Anywhere north, park at a train station like Nerang or Helensvale. This is by far the easiest and quickest option.

If you are south or not prepared to drive north, just get to a Park'n'Ride like the one at Firth Park. Its dead easy and usually not too much hassle or wait.

If you really want to park and walk, I usually do it from the Maccas/KFC carpark opposite the Town Centre. Its a good 10-15min walk though.

Nobody ever checks/tows cars from there.

Cheers Lat. Staying in the GC overnight. Just want to make sure the family is safe and they enjoy their night. Might do the Firth Park thing I think.

i go every year as i live in Coolangatta. You can go to Firth park Mudgeebra and have shuttle buses going to skilled park but what i do go to Robina Tavern or the Dog and Parrot pub buy a beer and get a free shuttle to skilled park as i have a beer anyway before the game to calm the nerves….hope that helps
