How will we fit 3 players in 2 positions?

Brooks, Austin & Moses.

How do all three of these players fit in our side?

Crazy thought but I think Austin can do a Jamie Lyon and switch to center which will allow Moses/Brooks halves. Austin is also a great hooker but Farah is about 4 years away from retiring.

In the long run it will be Brooks and Moses there is no doubt about that. Austin will be our utility on the bench.

He is kidding mate haha

I believe Austin has a great future tbh, needs a good shot, he is a foran clone IMO

Austin looks so hard to handle when he takes the line on that i have also wondered if he could transition to the centres. I have doubts about his ability to defend one on one that wide out though.

I have a higher opinion of Austin than Watto does, but he is more opposite Foran than alike. Chalk and cheese IMO Milky.

The thread title should probably read 3 players into 1 position. Brooks has the seven jumper and Anasta will probably have at least one hand on the six for a while yet, which I have no problem with.

Austin goes well in his short stints as a fresh player off the bench and kills it at NSW cup level, but at this stage is no walk up starter in the top grade. I am okay with him starting if Farah is playing, otherwise not.

Moses and Brooks a.s.a.p.

Austin is good but I don't think he is at the same level. I wouldn't play him off the bench either because 4 forwards works better.

ive said before i wouldnt mind them trying austin in the centres (and also at fullback actually!!). to me he looks to have lots of pace, and obviously has a passing game that could come in very handy. i suggested this when lawrence was going really badly, but then he improved (now i get the feeling he is fading again?).

as for foran though, have to completely disagree! foran is a big hard 6, whereas austin is the fast flashy type imo.

I can see the Foran comparisons. Both are decent sized hard running 5/8's who are at their best when running the ball.

I woudnt say a clone, but i do see some comparisons

Austin reminds me more dk josh Reynolds than foran. Average passing game, but high in energy.
