Humble to play halfback

Tim Sheens is in love with Tom Humble..(the new Fitzy)..he will never be dropped from the 17 again..I am pleased to see many more people are discovering what Tim Sheens does..he has been doing this since 2006 I can assure you.

I have had it with Wests Tigers with Stephen Humphreys and his Balmainification of Wests Tigers..Tim Sheens, who will not leave..PLEASE GO !..and the people who decide who goes and stays..they are screwing it..

You are kidding right? He's played 4 first grade games for us, hasn't had a shocker in any of them, and you label him with that??? So far this year there have been many players CONSISTENTLY worse, some of them our so called big guns.

At last a 1/2 back with a shoulder…Miller had a great game the other night .I will reserve my thoughts on Humble until he has tackled ever 110kg forward thrust at him, saved a try with a one on one tackle on a rampaging forward 5 mts out and scored a try ..some here mark players very differently to me.I hope Humble has a blinder as we need to get into gear ..lets give credit where due young Miller put his hand up the other night.Humble looks the goods with 10 to go when evey bodys out of fuel we will see on Sunday!

With ya Snake!

Snake,
Humble tackles tony Williams one-on-one, albeit from fullback, but he brought him down and put his shoulder in,
Moltzen made one-on-one try savers on gallen and also creagh 5m out,
So whilst that was a great tackle from miller on Monday night, it does not make him stand out, rather he can join the club, all our halfbacks this year can tackle

We can all agree so far that no one has grabbed and made the 7 their own.

We can also probably agree that sheens is giving the boys in the 7 a somewhat restricted role due to what Benji / farah provide for us etc.

Miller played ok in a side with no ball and no go forward. He shows enough promise to be able to make it in the 7\. Moltz also has been ok without making any waves and now humble will get his go.

I don't care which one it is, i'd just like to see one of them turn it on and lock the position down. If that means pissing off Benji & farah by taking more control of the direction of the team then that is the bridge sheens has to cross which unfortunately isn't likely.

Good luck to Humble for this weekend.

Mtd neither will miller, but someone has to play there, moltzens best spot is fullback, millers best spot is NYC so who is left u goose…
Humble has been picked there and must stay!
He also went well there during the trial against the eels without Marshall on the ground

moltzens best position is not fullback.. you goose (lol at the name calling)..

he played fullback for one full season and for the first three quarters of that time almost everyone said he wasn't a fullback, it took him a hell of a long time to come good in that position …

give him the same time in the #7 and i guarantee you will say his best position is halfback.. 3 games is not enough.. our team has played average, especially the forwards.. ofcourse its going to be hard for him to look good..

who else can we play at fullback? you could give lote a crack... hell, if you want an attacking fullback you could even move marshall there and play miller and moltzen in the halves..

1\. marshall
6\. moltzen
7\. miller
9\. farah

actually, i kinda like the look of that.. there's too much pressure on benji at 5/8... that halves combination with farah at hooker lets benji chime in when he sees something... the flow would be much better..

anyway, have fun tearing that apart.

Bloody hope he is injured. Sheens gave Morris three years at half, and Lui had two years to pull it together, it'd be a injustice of epic proportions for a 20 year old to get dumped after one game.

Moltzen wasn't given enough time at halfback imo.

Didn't Sheens say earlier in the year that he wanted him to go for the NSW halfback spot?

This is very unlike Sheens to change his mind so quick.

:brick:

I really can't understand this.

Actually noticed Lawrence playing in the middle for a few minutes towards the end of the game on Monday night.

Just goes to show how ineffective Moltzen was. He wasn't even getting involved, even to just throw a pass - I think it just shows that Moltzen doesn't have the vision or intuition to play in the halves.

He played some greaty footy at the back end of last year in the fullback position - and I would like to see him do that again now.

I think its a little column A (Tedesco going down with injury) and B (Moltzen hardly impressing at 7). Don't think he would've been changed had Tedesco still been playing this season. Hopefully it comes together for whoever ends up with the 7 jersey. It is a tough gig playing 7 in a team with two very dominant ball players.

Especially if you are not a halfback's bootlace.

I think he might go alright at half actually. He looked alright at the end of the Canberra game . Seemed to ad a bit of spark in the opposition 20, running across field and selecting runners (except for his grandstand pass). Not sure if he has much of a kicking game though and hopefully can hold well in defence in the front line.

I think humble will go well but imndissapointed miller is injured as I think he is the long term option and was impressive last week
