I’m still very delusional,I do ridiculous math in my head which calculates how the tigers can still win if we score a try this set,which turns to the next set,this goes on for most of the game until about 3 minutes to go and then it sets in i wasted two hours getting upset over a game I was excited to watch all week.
This has been happening for many moons. I don’t think I’ll change.but I need to it puts me in a horrendous mood that my wife is sick of lol

Yeah it really is annoying to look forward to a game all week to have it turn out like Saturday where we were not even in the game. It is just so flattening!

Haha completely relate to this.

Always look forward to watching the Tigers at the end of the week, and so often it ends up being a waste of excitement and time.

And though I do say this to myself often, if we can't beat the Bulldogs this week I think I will invest my time in something more useful for me for the remainder of this season.*

*Don't quote me on this, because I'll most likely be back for more punishment.

The amount of times I’ve said I’m done only to be just as excited for the game the next week.
If you asked me 3 weeks ago about the bulldogs game I would of bet the house on it....as of now I’d almost pick the Bulldogs

Think most realized that after we lost to the Warriors we were not a Top 8 team this year nor we deserved to be based upon performances good one week then mediocre the following followed by Woeful this last game.

It shows missing a Quality Hooker that is on loan his impact on the team, with harry going back next season this position and the spine should be our biggest concerns.

Watching the knights game although dismal effort as soon as Mybe was named as Hooker we had little chance, he is at best a bench player.
Benji had another shocker and Brooks was not much better.
AD not convinced he is a fullback, has a good passing game but lacks speed may be a long term 5/8 solution.
So for the rest of the season although most members sound depressed lets just sit back and watch the games with little expectation.
I think we can Win against the Bulldogs and might have one upset in us at the end of the season if a more quality team has an off day or does not show up.

So where do we finish at best i think 10th and at worst 12th, that's something to build on for next season. Most interesting will be who we off load and contracts we don't renew for 2021. This will determine also what happens with Madge in his final year of his contract in 2021.

Agree completely with this statement that's why i watch the games by myself now and the rest of the family know the result with the mood i am in.
I invest myself to the point where i think we can make the finals, and tend to get upset about the games we should win, but once i realize it's not possible to play finals watch out of interest to see how the team performs.
Will take 2 more wins for this season as a bonus and think most other results we will be struggling to be competitive. Always next season now.
