Winnipeg I concur with you on the hate of both teams…. You should try living in Brisbane and hearing about this over salary capped team on radio and in the paper. And having to put up with Bennett on my TV screens. But an answer to your question, can we beat the roosters??.....I certainly think we can if we turn up like last night, but we may be favourites for this one and that's a different kettle of fish for us.

Over the years so many thumping at the hands of chooks has made me resigned to the fact that we will get beaten and beaten well. I know it is negative thinking but it seems to happen every year and more often than not twice and even three times when we played them in the pre season. It hurts because not only do I hate loosing but I hate loosing to a club that basically is just a parasite that feeds off all the other clubs. The Donald Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon of the NRL, although it looks like Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon could win this year and there is no way the chooks will win come the end of the season.

Anyway you always live in hope, I will take a one point win in extra time but would prefer a 50 blot trouncing of the chickens

The bookies just lay the odds based on the market, more money coming in for a team means shorter odds. The bookie comes out ahead regardless of the result, it's the roosters fans who are dumb if they keep putting money on their train wreck team.

Looking at our record against the Roosters, we won 7 from 18 up until that semi (39%), which is bad but not terrible. Since then, we have only won 1 from 9 (11%).

Was that semi the start of our curse???
